LØGEMATIK - SUMMER MIX VOLUME 1

I produced and wrote this song about two weeks before the murder of George Floyd, and have been holding onto it ever since. While I feel the song is still unfinished, I think it’s time to let it out into the world. 

To those of you who know me, it may come as a surprise to you that I can rap...believe me, it was a surprise to me too at first, but no genre hits home for me more than Hip Hop. Hip Hop has always been music stemming from overcoming struggles and persevering through the darkest situations, and it is the genre which helped teach me how to be strong and brave. I hope that by opening up my inner world to the entire world, I can help spread a message which can help us to stay strong as a collective and fight for what is right for all of our Black brothers and sisters here in America and in this world.

I fully stand with the Black Lives Matter movement and would like to find a way to set it up so that all the profits from this song can go to a charity supporting the movement, so if any of you can help with making this a reality, I would greatly appreciate it. 

I ask that you please share this song on social media, and with friends and family...not for me, but for what is right. We will keep fighting...justice is necessary and we cannot have peace until this is made right. Thank you to everyone who took the time to listen, read this, and share. I love you all.

As the founder of Pharaoh Unlimited, Edward Charles is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and engineer from the Metro Detroit area of Michigan who expresses his experiences in life through his music and art. From the time he was a child, Edward has been passionate about his creative pursuits, beginning his production in Fruity Loops when he was 10 years old, eventually moving into a music studio in Downtown Detroit, which he left to build his own studio for Pharaoh Unlimited. With influence from a wide variety of creatives, Edward's music touches on a number of topics, drawing from his experiences with the vision to ultimately inspire a relentless determination in others.
