This song came about when an ex-girlfriend asked me to write a song for/about her, and this was the end product. I had made a list of traits, characteristics and idiosyncrasies about her and ended up writing about her fascination with magpies and how annoying she found it when she saw them alone and not in pairs. Despite what she told me, I don't think she really liked it. But I do and hopefully you will too.

This song was written about a conversation I had with a friend of mine about her favourite time of day - the twilight. That time of day when just before the sun comes up and just after it sets. Twilight features Debra Debs on vocals. I had a female vocal in mind especially for the vocal scat sections.

Lose your Company is a song about the fear of going out with someone and this person leaving you as soon as they have spent the minimum amount of time in your company to warrant having "gone out with you". This happened to me once, but it was actually all in my head. It ended up being a lovely evening.

Patterns which have been repeating for billions of years. I recently finished this track which plays with the idea of interchanging themes all fighting for survival.
