Third time's the charm with this track! haha.
Decided to take another crack at mixing this, and I'm finally satisfied. I've cleaned up some of the abrasive noises from the first version, and beefed up the rhythm section a bit. It's got some more presence, and is warmer and fuller now. Enjoy folks!

DESC FROM OG UPLOAD: Hey folks! Here is a cover I've just done of the season 10 song, "Navigation." It's one of many new series songs I'm pretty fond of. The vocal melody in this one is a blast to sing, and it was a good time arranging stuff over the chord progression. I had a lot of fun working on this one. haha.

It's about time I remade this old banger!
"It's Gonna Be a Great Day" from the special "King of the Railway" was one of the first Themes/Songs I tried to make on my Keyboard when I first got it. I use to love this song back then when the special came out and still find it one of the greatest CGI Thomas songs out there.

I decided to give this song another try. V2 sounds a lot more filled now with a propper bass and I added some guitar to. I even experimented with the high hat to make that ching-bell sound.
I LOVE the end result! It sounds so catchy, WAYY better than V1.
