Love the Aquarium Park additions. Aqua Planet meets the true Aquatic Planet. Nice.
Overall, a very clean reinstrumentation. It's missing a bit of the bite I love from the original, but something tells me that's wacky personal preference on my part. As is, it's perfectly competent and equally as catchy as the original.

It's a remix of a remix that de-remixes the remix so it sounds like the original but with the arrangement from the remix.

I hope I made that confusing.

The people behind this project (that's us!!!) are a team of earnest, mostly college-faring people from all over the world who decided to get together to create, just like how every other team has aimed for, what we feel is the most fantastic and from-the-heart Sonic experience as we can.

What sets Chroma apart from the rest is that our goal is to combine a whole buffet of fresh or otherwise unseen ideas with the classic Sonic formula to carefully craft and bring you an HD hybrid game. REMIX! Sonic 3 Prototype (Genesis, PC) - Forgotten Bop [Carnival Night Zone Act 2 Beta Remix]

Two days ago I found an old zip file full of old SRB2 midis (SRB2 is a 3D Sonic fan game that’s been worked on for at least a century now, made using an off-shoot of the Doom engine). I decided I’d piss around with the boss music, as I always liked it at the time. Those of you who know SRB2 know this is not that boss music. :P But hey, it’s a somewhat-introduction.

During my 2-hour lunch break at work yesterday (yay last Friday of the month~), I thought I’d give creating a remix of another level’s music I really enjoy a go; Techno Hill Zone. The only difference is I wanted to do it from scratch; no midi for help. This is the result.

For just over an hour and a half of work on it, I’m really happy with it. :> Enjoy.
