trndmsk: What inspired you to produce the track?

Vodoom: I was on vacation on the country side, we had a great fire camp and I visualize a lot of things, I always keep my oriental touch in my tracks, especially in the end where sounds like I became legion and we sang together in perfect unison. That’s why it’s called „Bunshin“ (the cloning technique in Japenese anime Naruto).  (...)

Vodoom - Bunshin

PREMIERE: Dynacom - Night Witcher (Nishan Lee Remix) [YIN]

Originally part of the "Demente" EP for Balkan Connection in spring 2018, Dynacom provided a moment of seething dark magic with "Night Witcher." Now receiving a pair of remixes courtesy of Yin and Yang, stars from Sri Lanka and Colombia take up the mantle.

With over two decades of experience in the dance music industry, centered around a blossoming scene in the Sri Lankan capital, Nishan Lee has created a name for himself through his Audiosolo events and radio show. A regular across Colombo's clubs alongside such stars as Guy J, Stan Kolev and Pole Folder, a debut solo EP for Michael A's Genesis Music in August 2018 has subsequently seen a steady stream of releases for imprints such as Stellar Fountain, Juicebox Music and One Of A Kind. With his music supported by a DJ elite including Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Jamie Stevens, a debut appearance on Yin saw a remix of Lanvary's Micromegas in December 2017. 

Now making his return, the Nishan Lee remix immediately excites with its fizzing percussive top line and stripped back bassline groove. Carefully using melodic elements from Dynacom's original, "Night Witcher" takes on a mesmerizing quality, lifted by ethereal and flowing melodic lines in the breakdown, exploding into the third movement with a dynamic energy that is sure to find favor on the dancefloor.

@Kotoek joined the Love Family during our Brasil Tour in January 2018. Shortly after we discovered her amazing voice and she started performing live at our events. The logical next step was to produce own music with that voice and we tried to do our part by proposing to include one of her first tracks on our first vinyl. On top of that @gerragmusic came through Kotoe into our lives during the Brasil Tour and so he was the logical choice for the remix.

As always with us 50% of the profit of the sales from this track goes to Love Foundation, the other 50% are split between the Artists and the label.

Anastasia had her passion for music ever since she was a kid. It started out slowly, but grew into something she knew would be her life eventually. She was born in Russia, moved to Latvia, then spent 7 years in Denmark and is now on her way to move to Spain. While living in Denmark, she realized that she wants to produce and play music, after trying other things it was clear that music was the answer. Quickly enough, her name was seen in all major cities of Denmark, including Aalborg, Aarhus and Copenhagen. Anastasia likes to take her sets in all possible directions, playing all the different music she enjoys herself. She felt a never ending drive and passion for producing too, so her releases did not wait to be shown to the world. Still experimenting, she believes in not labeling herself with a genre, but rather keep exploring and focusing on what is it that gives the music its special feeling, the one that makes you want to close your eyes and enjoy. Whether at a party or alone at home, she always looks for inspiration. When it comes to her own music, it’s a must for her that it inspires herself! That’s what happened with “When You Dance”. trndmsk: What inspired you to produce the track?

gázel: We both come from very different musical backgrounds and have almost opposing views on sound design and arrangement tactics. This manifests itself in ways that constantly surprise us. Julian has a past in Punk, Indie and Hip Hop projects and is fond of nearly any handmade music. Lucas has been listening to experimental electronic music since his teenage years and has a past in harder music styles such as Metalcore and Hard Techno. After we listened to the finished track, we realized we fused those influences together unconsciously, while still sticking to our lowest common denominator: Downtempo. We think the track does very good job at representing who we are, musically. (...)
