Diese erste Perle von @santiago-jovit habe ich beim Draußen-Rauchen im Schaufenster von @sleeveplusplus entdeckt. Das Cover hat mich geschickt und deswegen wollte ich mal reinhören. Nur Track A2 hat mich komplett abgeholt. Trotzdem habe ich mich erst beim zweiten Sleeve-Besuch durchringen können sie mitzunehmen, weil ich mit meinem Kumpel von @peter_sniffin zusammen reingehört hab. Wir waren uns einig. Der perfekte letzte Track, den ich euch aber zur Feier des Anlasses als erstes kredenzen möchte. Obacht: abruptes Ende

Nr. 2 von @binarydigit wollte ich schon lange Mal in ein Set einbringen aber habe es dann immer gelassen, weil die Stimmung so unstimmig zu den anderen Platten erschien aber in sich ist sie ultra stimmig und schön melancholisch, idm-ish, sphärisch und mit Happy End. So hab ichs gern.
Gerade ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Platte eigentlich auf 45 läuft und ich sie immer auf 33 höre XD

Mein neuer Kumpel von Self Lerning System @friedrich_ernst  hat mir zu unserem Kennenlernen im @vary_leipzig seine erste verlegte Platte geschenkt. Das lädt das Teil natürlich mit Extrabedeutung auf. Deshalb auch an dieser Stelle herzlichen Glückwunsch zu eurem „Alt-Herren-Electro“-Debut 😉 Euer Ansatz zum autodidaktischen Produzieren elektronischer Musik hat mich begeistert.

Translucid aus Leipzig gründete vor eineinhalb Jahren auch ein Label und hateinen einmaligen Kickstart hingelegt. Sehr experimentell. Das Krake Festival feiert sich 2022 über mehrere Tage und Locations vom 12. bis 21. August selbst und ist nach zwei Jahren Pandemie und einer volldigitalen und einer hybriden Ausgabe endlich wieder in der komplett analogen Welt angekommen. Ebenfalls in der physischen Welt ist das Kollektiv none/such mittlerweile anzutreffen, allerdings erst seit neuestem, da das junge interdisziplinäre Label vor Corona schlicht nicht existierte. Wie es sich anfühlt wenn man nach den Lockdowns das erste Mal das eigene Publikum trifft und wie man aus mehreren Städten und über die Kontinente hinweg Clubszenen bespielt, könnt ihr im Interview nachlesen. During a year in France, Aino DJ finally got the courage to step behind a turntable and started mixing for fun. Since then, she has played in clubs like Gewölbe and Jaki and has made first steps outside of her homebase with gigs at Melt Festival and Silbergold, Frankfurt.The cologne based DJ plays a selection of a whole variety of different subgenres, always rooted in a dynamic mixture of electro, breaks, techno and more. She loves to twist her sets into unexpected directions and never just focuses on one genre, unwilling to fulfill expectations regarding the sound she plays.

American producer Dustin Evans aka TEXTASY aka @aciddallas has let the music play this month, delivering a mix for EDWIN that mirrors his signature sound as a producer in a ninety-minute rhythmic trip. 

The man from Dallas, Texas loves the MPC and dances with 'her' gently to create moving club music that cannot be pinned down to one style. Instead, his productions melt acid, jungle, Miami Bass, electro, IDM and techno in a totally unabashed, fresh, contemporary way.

Since 2017, Dustin has released four EP’s on UK labels including Natural Science, E-Beamz, Dolphin Traxx and Craigie Knowes from Glasgow. With titles like 'Welcome To The Darkroom' and 'Dallas Gun Club', they display his seriously unserious approach to dance music.

On his very own label, FTP, the Berliner by choice publishes thrilling music by artists such as Son Of A Blunt and Detroit's Filthiest alongside his own work, walking the line between classic Detroit electro, feverish ghetto tech and other forms of weird but touching club jams. As a DJ he fuses the aforementioned styles in a fast-paced and energetic way, that can be only described with one word: RAVE.

Imogen is already seen to be shaping the next generation of Electronic music. Originally from Southampton, Imogen moved to London to study music production and then put her own parties on before she was 18 just to be able to play in the clubs. She first created a platform with her radio residency to showcase already legendary and rising talent, since then things have moved pretty fast for her already playing at Berghain and opening The Moat for Dimensions festival.

Now the winter is approaching Imogen has a string of releases in the pipeline; her first release is coming out this month on Sunil Sharpes label ‘Earwiggle’ along side Giant Swan, Delta Funktionen and Autumns. There is also another piece from her on Mumdance’s Shared Meanings VA out later this year.
