Currently in the midst of one of his biggest international tours to date, and with an astounding five chart-topping original singles under his belt already this year, Grammy-nominated Swiss artist EDX looks to see off 2019 in emphatic fashion as he announces the forthcoming release of his next huge sure-fire hit, Voltaic.

Due for release on December 13 via Spinnin’ Records, Voltaic explores the harder, techier side of EDX’s vast repertoire, as Switzerland’s most successful electronic artist shows off his endless capabilities in the studio to deliver yet another unique, avant-garde single, brimming with attitude. The club-oriented cut is built around an unmistakable synth refrain, which EDX manipulates to extraordinary effect throughout, complete with the welcome addition of punchy ghetto-funk vocal stabs, sweeping pads, old school claps and a hefty sprinkling of his faultless production flair.

His latest original single since the release of Neptune in September, Voltaic also follows two huge remixes over the past couple of months for EDX, whose recent reinterpretations of Charli XCX’s White Mercedes and Loud Luxury & Bryce Vine’s I’m Not Alright have been garnering millions of streams and considerable international acclaim.

Due for worldwide release on February 7 via his esteemed label, PinkStar Records, Adore Me is yet another veritable masterclass in vocal-driven deep house from EDX, and follows a slew of successful releases on the Sirup Music subsidiary imprint over the last six months, including his critically acclaimed late summer single Neptune. 

Making his intentions known from the off, EDX’s tight beats, syncopated synths and deep bass stabs commence proceedings, providing the perfect backdrop to an ethereal female topline, which is introduced to frame the record with its undeniable euphoria. Complete with sweeping, arpeggiated harmonies and crisp production values throughout, Adore Me is an impressive amalgamation of tough, upfront beats and melodic ‘hands-in-the-air’ rapture, providing an exquisite addition to one of the most remarkable artist discographies in dance music.

Founding the internationally renowned record company Sirup Music in 2002, his imprints have chartered hits by iconic acts including Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Steve Angello, Tiësto and more. Establishing a joint-venture with Enormous Tunes, his Helvetic Nerds crew (including Nora En Pure, Daniel Portman, Croatia Squad and Sons of Maria) have seen global domination with their distinct sound. Aside from playing a crucial role in nurturing many successful artist careers over the years, his own vast catalogue of chart-topping original productions and remixes have amassed one billion streams on Spotify alone, and attracted an adoring international fan-base in the process.

The forced hiatus in international touring during much of 2020 and 2021 allowed EDX to channel his creativity and energy into other parts of his business. Back in full force, 2022 was one of his most prolific years to-date, boasting an array of releases on prestigious imprints, including Don’t Be Afraid with Allie Crystal and sampling Dennis Parker’s iconic Like An Eagle in Holy Wood with Frey. Continuing this momentum in 2023, EDX released Renascence, and reunited with Frey to revisit an all-time dance classic The Rhythm Of The Night, receiving special permission from the original’s creator Roberto Zanetti.
