Exactly one year on from the release of their airwave-dominating debut collaboration I Found You (Neptune) back in May 2020, prolific Swiss hit-machine, EDX, and exquisite Australian singer-songwriter, Jess Ball, now join forces once again to announce their eagerly anticipated sophomore collab, Take Me Home.

Due for worldwide release via Sirup Music on Friday, May 28, Take Me Home explores the deeper, more soulful side of EDX’s vast production repertoire, as Switzerland’s most successful electronic artist shows off his endless studio credentials to deliver yet another unique single, brimming with attitude.
Complimenting Jess Ball’s ethereal topline with a perfectly matched deep house instrumental, the club-oriented vocal cut is built around deep luscious basslines, subtle piano riffs, shuffling tech-house rhythms and an unmistakably catchy synth refrain, which EDX manipulates to extraordinary effect throughout.

Speaking about the new record, EDX commented:

“Take Me Home is my first vocal single of 2021 and is a very special record to me. Jess and I had such a great time working on ‘I Found You’, so it made perfect sense to reconnect for another collaboration. Currently in the midst of his biggest tour of the USA in over two years – a run which sees him take on over a dozen headline shows across the length and breadth of the United States in just under two months – iconic Swiss hit-machine and formidable label head, EDX, now continues his hugely prolific run of studio form with the announcement of his latest sure-fire dancefloor hit Vommuli.

Out today, August 20, via the most club-leaning imprint in his locker – PinkStar Records – Vommuli sees EDX explore a much more euphoric, underground timbre than we’ve become accustomed to, capitalising on his hugely diverse production credentials to deliver one of his most rapturous, club-ready records of late. A perfectly judged, slow burning melodic house cut with the sort of spine-tingling harmonies up top that really send crowds wild, broad synths and luscious bass add colour and warmth to ensure this one lingers long in the memory.

An ode to the reopening of dancefloors around the world, this record symbolises everything fans have been missing since the pandemic put a halt to international touring back in March 2020, as EDX dials up the groove and sets the tone for the rest of the year.

Founder of the internationally renowned record company Sirup Music in 2002, which has released hits from the likes of Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Steve Angello, Tiësto and more — and in joint-venture with Enormous Tunes his ‘Helvetic Nerds’ crew of Nora En Pure, Daniel Portman, Croatia Squad and Sons of Maria — Maurizio's own vast catalogue of chart-topping original productions and remixes has amassed hundreds of millions of streams and an adoring international fan-base in the process.
