Sam Paradise from Leipzig, Germany, is one of the heads behind the two House labels theBasement Discos and Miura Records. After releases on labels such as GLBDOM and Honey Butter Records, Sam now drops his energetic House EP titled “All This Love” on Miura.

The title track of the EP, “All This Love”, is a retro-sounding House tune. A huge piano riff is accompanied by some synth stabs, overdriven bassline, heavy kick and other rough 909-style drums with an almost Garage-y feel. Here and there, a smooth vocal cut as well as an electric guitar shine through the mix.
“Blue Hour” is the second track on the EP. While it sounds less rough than “All This Love”, it still keeps the energy level high – no surprise for a 130 BPM House track. A spacey synth pad creates a dreamy atmosphere, while a 90s-sounding organ stab and electric piano melody pierce through. The syncopated bassline, drums and bongos add lots of drive and groove and make “Blue Hour” a very danceable tune.

While the first two tunes sound quite 90s-influenced, Romeo Louisa’s remix of “All This Love” has a more modern approach. The Parisian producer uses short bits of the original’s piano riff as a stab, adds a deep synth pad, rolling bassline and tight, Garage-inspired drums and percussion. Overall, this dancefloor-ready remix is a good representation of the current House and Deep Tech sound of the French capital.

In recent years, @2dzc has emerged as a highly sought-after DJ, leaving her mark in Austria with performances at numerous venues. As a key member of the Acid Lambada crew, she has been featured in well-established curated festivals and events, both locally and internationally.

Her productions mirror her passion for synth-driven dance music, characterized by dreamy pads and playful melodies. No stranger to Fortunea Records, having already been featured in two editions of the @fortunea Cookies VA-Series, she is set to present her first 4-track EP in February.

The 'Conversations with Birds' EP is a meticulously balanced collection of tracks designed for each phase of a club night.

Drawing inspiration from elements of 90s House and progressive sounds, 'Visual Mind' and 'In Sight' are dreamlike journeys with lively synth melodies, joyful basslines, and captivating pads and textures. The latter has also been reworked by Fortunea regular Peletronic, infusing crisp minimalistic rhythms into his 'Blurred Vision' Mix.

The standout piece of the EP is the title track on the B-side, a beautiful composition that elicits uplifting moments and feelings of euphoria. It features emotive chords, airy strings, and soothing sustained tones that enhance the powerful groove.

The record promises to immerse listeners in an engaging journey that captures Dzc.'s distinctive vision.

'Conversations with Birds' will be digitally released on February 23, followed shortly by a limited vinyl edition.

"In Interlinked’s first release: “Celestial Dream Dance” the artist wants to take you on a celestial journey. Interlinked. uses elaborate lush pads blended together with an anthemic piano piece to sculpt the illusion of an inter-dimensional dreamscape. The aim of the track is to transcend the listener into a constant flow of motion. The artist introduces new rhythmic layers of hats, 303 baselines and cymbals to keep the track interesting and evolving. A punchy hard dance kick together with shaky hats make the track very suitable for the dancefloor as well.

Interlinked. has been heavily inspired by 90’s Hard Dance & Acid Trance music. In an attempt to build upon these pillars Interlinked. takes elements of classic Pacific House and mixes them in with Trancey baselines. With the help from his mentor CoastDream, Interlinked. managed to improve his craft furthermore.

As an artist, founding member and A&R of theBasement Discos and its sublabels, Sam Paradise began leaving a mark on the House scene in 2019.

Sam's tracks and mixes range from soulful and jazzy House through peaktime Disco and Garage to 90s Acid and Progressive House as well as Hip-House and Breaks. 

His tracks have been supported by artists like Cinthie, Dam Swindle, Chrissy, Herr Krank, and Niles Cooper.

Sam Paradise's gigs have taken him all through Germany and to several European countries where he played alongside artists like Cinthie, Johannes Albert, Amy Dabbs, Robert Owens, Cooper Saver, and Fred P. 

As a label manager, Sam has worked together with artists like Todd Edwards, Coeo, Fernanda Arrau, Sandilé, Rhode & Brown and Kid Simius. theBasement Discos and its sublabels' tracks have been played by Bicep, Jamie XX, TSHA, Anja Schneider, The Blessed Madonna, Moodymann, Peggy Gou and more.
