The Leipzig based artists Bajazo and D.K.denz came together to create their first common track. After several years of friendship, the time has come to symbioticate in their styles. Bajazo‘s long time experience in electronic music and sound design mixed with D.K.denz‘ HipHop and House influences created an unusual dreamy track that makes you want to dance wherever this track plays.

"In Interlinked’s first release: “Celestial Dream Dance” the artist wants to take you on a celestial journey. Interlinked. uses elaborate lush pads blended together with an anthemic piano piece to sculpt the illusion of an inter-dimensional dreamscape. The aim of the track is to transcend the listener into a constant flow of motion. The artist introduces new rhythmic layers of hats, 303 baselines and cymbals to keep the track interesting and evolving. A punchy hard dance kick together with shaky hats make the track very suitable for the dancefloor as well.

Interlinked. has been heavily inspired by 90’s Hard Dance & Acid Trance music. In an attempt to build upon these pillars Interlinked. takes elements of classic Pacific House and mixes them in with Trancey baselines. With the help from his mentor CoastDream, Interlinked. managed to improve his craft furthermore.

This iconic sound is exactly what’s celebrated on the fifth release of Deeper Groove Recordings as the label once again enlists Cork-based talent Southbound Sounds for their new EP, ‘Whiplash’.

Lead track ‘Whiplash’ swirls and rotates around the listener with phased claps, hats and clean percussion, softened by a frenzy of warm organ stabs. These are paired with an incessant, distant vocal sample, and before you know it, the groove has you moving. Glenn Davis’ stunning remix of this later in the EP takes the keys to another level with a cool drum break and subtle, bumping bassline.
