The beaked being returns with the third in the series of Fantast remix EPs, once again offering a collection of dancefloor-focussed reworks from some of his current favourite producers.

The third chapter features reinterpretations from former Trouw resident Patrice Bäumel and Off Recordings mainstay Simion. 

In an album campaign that has already seen remixes from Franky Rizardo, NiCe7, Super Flu, Tensnake, David Penn, Pirupa, Cassius, Lee Foss, Catz N’ Dogz, MK and Lindstrom, Mihalis Safras, Eagles & Butterflies & Prins Thomas, the third EP has maintained the momentum and picked up where the first left off.

'Over the last two years it has been a great pleasure to work on this album as a counterpoint to the hectic world of travelling as a DJ. To lose myself when making music, to dive into and create my very own realm of beauty. I admit it's a dreamy, a heartfelt, at times a naive and surely escapist album, but what to do if one - on the quest for his soul - develops a strong desire to go back to his roots, back to nature? Did I find myself on that journey? Rather not. But I found some beautiful moments in the green, out in the woods, out in the fields, under the moon and in the night, moments, which I want to share with you. Cryptozoology, the search for and study of animals whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated, such as the Loch Ness monster and the yeti, is something that Henry Saiz finds deeply intriguing. His love of exoticism and strange natural/organic sounds (his own label is called Natura Sonoris - which means Nature of Sound) provide the fuel for this latest stunning Bedrock release.

“The Cryptozoologist” has an instantly striking, mysterious Andean / Peruvian melodic influence that harks back to cultures shrouded in the mysteries of time, creating a truly haunting track. “Uncharted” is equally hypnotic and enthralling and yet distinctly different. Henry is using a lot of analogue vintage gear to create his music, which is giving him a very distinct sound, a path that will lead to his hotly awaited debut artist album (due out in April 2013) on which he will delve totally into and explore an analogue world (www.wearehenrysaiz.com).

Henry's critically acclaimed “Balance 019” album, released in 2011, was the catalyst for his star potential explode around the globe. The mystical sounds of the masked man known as AIWASKA has found much acclaim with his glorious ‘Medicine’ release on Exploited Ghetto. Fans of the track emerged far and wide. Eelke Kleiijn creates a more urgent feel than that of the original. He takes everything that’s great about ‘Medicine’ and gives it just the right amount of boost to create a more intense dancefloor moment. The chugging, arpeggiated bass groove still drives the track, but in a more relentless fashion. The track builds through slow-burning modulation, with a driving percussion success that features off-kilter snare hits and chunky tom thumps. As the track reaches its climax, a dizzying array of sirens, rising FX and white noise tones elevate it into an explosive flurry of sound, sending shivers up the spine. It’s quite spectacular.

The secretive AIWASKA project has been receiving big support from the Burning Man community, and Damian Lazarus recently released one of his tracks through his scene-leading Crosstown Rebels imprint. There’s much more to come from this masked man. Kleijn also has his links to Burning Man, having composed the track ‘1,000 Lights’ as part of a 670 drone art piece at Burning Man 2018 in memory of festival founder, Larry Harvey.
