It's almost midnight, you’re at a park, one that is lively at day, yet quiet at night. You notice an area less attended to, and to the far end of that an old asylum. Compared to all of the other buildings around, this one seems to be more neglected and in decay. The eerie calmness of this building lights up the curiosity within you, and with an inkling you cannot seem to nudge off, you decide to walk up to the asylum’s front door, and with a daring push you enter with a loud creak from the door’s rusty hinges, one that would disturb any near presence in the dead silence of the night... Walking in at first, you notice the cold quiet emptiness, the odorous smell of mould, the pealing of the paint from neglected walls, the burnt-like scent, and the feeling of deep loneliness, a feeling that no matter how loud your shout for help from inside, not a soul would hear or care to heed your call… At first, this place seems silent, yet as you walk further down along the corridor, you begin to hear voices, whispers coming from the rooms on either side, and in front, but you see no one, not even in the slightly illuminated rooms from the moonlight peering through the windows. As you move further along, telling yourself that it's just your mind playing tricks on you, the voices start to get louder and more present, and before you know it the whispers are surrounding you from in front, and behind... The anxiety this causes brings a powerful shudder as you are almost completely entranced by the haunting sounds. The sounds of what seems to be the whispers of hundreds of hidden entities, and the feeling you gather is that they are trying to possess your mind to drive you to insanity, just as they were driven to insanity long ago, and eventually left to be forgotten in this forsaken place… Just as you are about to lose yourself to their voices, a sense of self returns to you, and in a panic you begin to scurry back to the entrance with the voices hard on your trail, running back up the corridor panting, in the clutch of the moment you manage to reach the front door, and just as they are about to grip your mind again, you slam the door shut, leaving to never return...

The next night at home, relieved that it’s all over, turning the lights off and going to sleep, you hear something ambient but a very odd ambience, thinking that it’s just your mind playing tricks on you, you decide to place your headsets on, and in that moment, with a calm music playlist at the ready, you press...

It’s night-time outside in the middle of nowhere on an old country road, your car has broken down and there is no reception. Looking around, almost all you can see is darkness and the fog illuminated by the moonlight, the quiet stillness of the environment is so much so, that nothing but your breath and the sounds of your very own footsteps can be heard, this certainly tells you that you are completely detached from society out here, no one within miles…
Although quiet this place seems eerie, as if it has unfinished business, the feeling you get is one of sadness and treachery, as if someone was wronged here long ago, and left forgotten without justice, you don’t yet know why this feeling has struck, but that would soon change…

As you open your trunk to retrieve the necessary tools to start your car up, suddenly, you hear a groan behind you. The sound seemed to have carried off into the distant fog on the left, but since you didn’t see anything, it left you thinking that it was just your fatigue causing hallucinations.
Now having retrieved the necessary tools, you open the bonnet of your car and commence fixing the battery (which being an extremely cold night on a long drive causing the battery to freeze and the car to break down in the first place). Being at the front of the car you once again hear another groan from behind you… puzzled by hearing it twice, you decide to face you flashlight where you heard the source, beginning a search on the road ahead. Finding nothing once more you decide to head back to the car.
As you walk back, you can hear your breath and the sound of your boots treading on the gravel road, but something seems strange… you can hear a second set of feet lightly treading the ground almost perfectly in time with the sound of your own, so being nervous you decide to pace quickly back to your car, and without hesitation you close your bonnet, but instantly afterwards, you hear a screech coming from behind you that sends a chill down your spine,  leaving you completely petrified with fear, this causes you to quickly look behind which is when you see what cannot be unseen… 
It, a phantom like apparition all in black to your eye’s disbelief, as you look in petrified fear unable to turn your head away, it gets closer, closer, and closer, until you are able to see it’s corpse-like face with it’s completely black eyes staring lifelessly back at you, and with a final screech it shouts in a horrific enraged groan… FIND THEM!

A story of a person surrounded by wilderness, sight hindered by darkness, trapped outside, not even in a house but out in the forest, where something unnatural lingers waiting to strike. And so the one lost must survive until break of day, must make it through the cold and horror of the night or perish before dawn, and be forgotten forever, left to haunt the dark forest for eternity in fear...
