Efe Tarel - «Singing is my life»
God has blessed me with a voice for which I am infinitely grateful. I have built my life around the soothing feelings I get when I connect with it, immersing myself in moments where I just sing, sing, and sing until I find myself in my wonderland, without sorrow or pain—singing is the water I needed to quench my senses, my longing for joy and happiness, and I simply danced to chase any sadness that tried to lurk nearby.

Efe Tarel's biography is inspiring and shows how her passion for music and her determination have carried her through difficult times. It is impressive to see how she has pursued her love of music from childhood to the present.

"I am the third child in a family of five children from Delta State, Nigeria. My parents are originally from Nigeria. Singing has always been special to me. I started singing in church and at Christian and school activities. I lost my father at an early age. I grew up with my mother, who later remarried. It wasn't easy living with a stepfather who hated me and treated me more like a helpless child, but I think all the torture and pain made me stronger and more determined.
Reading, writing, and dancing have helped me a lot in my life. You learn a lot through books, and from a young age, I learned that knowledge is powerful, so I held on to it.
I make it in life so that I can support children in situations like the one I was in back then—and to my advantage—as I call it today. This is what gave rise to my project "The Angel Voices."
I completed my education at the University of Jos in the Nigerian state of Plateu with a degree in marketing. In 1998, I traveled to Germany, where I settled in Delmenhorst, where I still live and work today.

``` In Germany, Efe Tarel's voice was discovered in church, where she joined the then parish choir "The Ady and Zion" in Bremen as a soloist. She was also known as a singer in the smaller group "The Black Voices," which had emerged from the larger choir and consisted only of solo singers. She toured throughout Germany with this group.
In 2015, she decided to launch her solo career.
"After a while, I got tired of constantly repeating the same songs like a parrot, even though it made me very happy to sing those songs, but I know there's more to me, and I really wanted to express what's inside me, as I've always loved trying out new melodies and lyrics, so I started writing down my ideas.
"I hope the message in my songs will benefit people and give them strength for their own lives."
