Waiting for Surrender

In his senior year of high school in 2009, Caleb Smith decided to put a band together to compete in the school Battle of the Bands. He called on his childhood friend Jamin Rock to play keys, and a kid he took guitar lessons with, Marc Forrester, to come in and play two songs for the competition. They made it all the way to state, where they promptly lost. After a temporary break-up, Marc and Caleb began writing new music. Enlisting the help of drummer Kyle Bond, original member Jamin Rock, and now Grammy award winning engineer Tom Parham, the band is exploring new musical horizons. Live shows throughout the year, and an EP due out in less than a month, 2014 is proving to be EFFICIENCY'S best year yet.
