@yukumusic is one of the most unique labels to emerge on the electronic scene in recent years with eclectic releases ranging from ambient to bass music and halftime, beats, dnb, techno, and captivating music that defies genre.

Celebrating their upcoming 2 year anniversary, this is a multi-genre, varied tempo, all-YUKU label mix highlighting some of my favorite cuts from their diverse discography. BIO:
Dominik’s productions and sets gravitate toward dark, industrial techno: a form driven by pounding percussion layered with spacious soundscapes and cogent mechanical reverberations. His first release took place on Silence virtual label in 2003 and in time, in addition to focusing on music production, he decided to more significantly contribute to the Silesian electronic music scene. In 2004 he founded the Centre of Sonic collective, and between 2005 and 2006 he was also a member of Extreme-tech DJ collective that organized several techno and experimental events in southern Poland. At the beginning of 2006 he joined the elite Silence! promotion agency team, and finally in 2007 established his own independent record label, Furanum Records. Since then, it has remained the prime focus of his artistic output. Under the name Furanum Records Night, he organised several now legendary industrial techno parties in the region. His latest project is a collaboration with Rafał Fürst under the alias Uncto, and he continues to produce solo material under the alias Beuthen O.S.. Some of Dominik’s current discography can be found on labels such as Locked Records, Limetree, Ante-Rasa, Nheoma, Records, and Neural Network.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the German duo Uncto (Furanum Records).

Uncto emerges from the soot-covered land of Upper Silesia, an industrial panorama interspersed with aging foundries, rusting ironworks, and derelict mines. 
Largely mementos of a once optimistic past, their form and function seemingly transcend their circumstance through the inspiration they afford to the musical vision of Dominik Müller and Rafal Fürst, the duo behind the project. 
In their eyes, a densely layered scenery forged from extreme acoustic elements and roughly grounded within the paradigm offered by contemporary techno is the vehicle most capable of the embodiment and conveyance of their ideas. 
Driven by powerful rhythmic propulsion, theirs is a construct of industrial mimicry where vast collisions and mechanistic clangs violently yet symbiotically coalesce with the drone of grinding gears and abrasive discord of metal being torn apart by shearing forces.
