I wrote this piece with the longing for home.
and with the feeling that life's ordeals are inescapable.  
I guess at the end we always manage to cope with what may come.

Homesick / No Way Out

I tried to capture in this piece the sense that much of what we see and hear is not the truth.  Well, it's not that I really tried it's just what came out spontaneously out of me in a moment of feeling this. It took me only a couple of hours to compose it. Would love to know what you feel when listening to this.

The Lie

We are dreaming a life of a chaotic mind
It's making us lazy though we work so hard

We're fighting the rules from a corrupted stand

They only mess-up all authenticity

Mistake of mine
is one of the firsts songs I wrote and produced in 1999
and was part of the Album Level of Grief.

It is one of the most important pieces of mine until this day.
you can hear the nosy sound I had back then in my early twenties :)

In the future, I plan to record it again, in a more modern way.
and give the emphasis and room to all the sounds in this song 
that they do deserve to get.

A few years ago I recorded my vocals again and only slightly changed one or two elements.

This song was part of "Level of Grief" which was released in 1999 as a home production album. Back then iI was really influenced by Depeche Mode so you can find some similar vibes.
It was a bit revisioned but it is mostly the same as the original one. 

LYRICS:

Prestigious job, she also had
Misplaced pride

Attraction wasn’t in her list of demands
