New track is out on the Etymology Records Compilation Bonaticalia, dedicated to nature <3 Few months ago @jazzinuf told me about this project, that was a blast to met him and talk about nature for hours. Stoked to have a track on this compilation all along other homies.
I made this track with nature sounds, foleys and ambiance from Balata, an exotic botanical garden in Martinique Island in the Carribean when i was there. Hope you gonna vibe with this one <3

Had to re-upload due to some glitches and I added some more vocal samples! Here's a deep remix of my favourite film, 'Isle of Dogs' (2018) by Wes Anderson, remixed entirely out of sounds, dialogue and vocals from the film and samples from it's soundtrack.

I've put off remixing this film in the past for a while and I finally decided to pull the trigger and give it one last try; and I'm very pleased with how it's turned out.

When working with the vocals, I wanted to make sure the character's speaking Japanese came out as clear as possible. Inspired by Wes' visual style, I decided to mirror his symmetrical visual style with a C pedal in the bass all throughout the track (apart from the last chorus).

💜Forest Meeting is a very groovy love story full of deep mystery, sweet longing and wild desire, where the boundaries between the human world and the realm of the forest spirits are fading, and we get to meet and dance together under the setting sun and the low hanging branches of ancient trees.
The story itself is based on a love story from Witch Princess ongoing fantasy book that she has been writing on for over a decade, her own experience with being alone in nature and connecting with nature spirits, and also it draws some of the magic of a very powerful meeting she had in woods one summer…
