A funk MC barks around the horror-flick beat of “Ficou Braba”, which is met with low-end ferocity and percussion that’s part favela handclaps, part grimey machine-gun snares. A progressive burner built for DJs pushing beyond the usual formulas.

Lewis Taylor clocks in for the Digital-Only Series with “Move Your Waistline”, an organ house romp that pulses with a deep, rolling composure. “This is my bassline” goes the commanding vocals here, sending each line off with an emoticon kiss :* and the second half welcomes what sounds like halfway between a mangled Reese bassline and a fairground organ. A whirligig of a snare roll tightens the screw before cutting out for a top-of-the-drop count-up - “1, 2, 3, 4”. And just like that, you’re locked in.
