Written during the unwavering uncertainty and weirdness of 2020/21, Quivver’s third studio album is a body of work that lives and breathes in its own universe, on its own terms. Experimental, thoughtful, loaded with faraway dancefloor dreams, it was his debut album on Bedrock and a huge highlight of the year for the label. 

Now, as the raving world reawakens once again, it’s time for more revelations as Quivver hands over the stems to some trusted peers for this exciting remix collection. Each cut tailored for the dancefloor, the collection starts with an almighty jolt of euphoria as 8Kays takes the lead with her divine take on ‘Hold’. 

Currently heralded as a future hero by Beatport in their Beatport Next campaign, Ukraine producer 8Kays once again backs up the hype with a pristine and dramatic flip that adds a whole new twist on Quivver’s original.  

8Kays is not alone as Losless steps up next to bring his own sense of techno je ne sais quoi to ‘Funkily’. Adding extra swing and broken drum flare to the already juicy, rolling original, there’s a sudden sunlit bonus midway as the synth heavens open to reveal great swathes of emotion.

The feels continue on Lexer’s remix of ‘Nothin’ New To Feel’. One of the most heartfelt moments of the album, Lexer maintains the powerful yearning sentiment of the original with the plaintive vocal are refuelled with sweeping bass textures and sudden flips into brilliant moments of urgency.  

For the final leg of this remix adventure we head north west to Toronto, home of Weska who brings the EP home in his own fast lane. Deep, thundering techno with a latent warm groove, Weska pays full attention to ‘Atomised’ while making it wholly his own.

Nocta Numerica meets the 2018 with very special release and this is the first collaboration between the label and one of my favorite electronic music artists: Timothy J. Fairplay. He doesn't need to be introduced. Everyone into the game knows who is that. 
"I’ve always been a contrary f**ker” -  thats what he say about himself. For me the guy is genius who does not resemble to anyone.
For this ninth release, TJF made a 4-track EP in his unique and reconizable style - solid release that can not be ignored.
I am very happy to collaborate with Nocta Numerica for the first premiere of the EP with the track "Pure Hex" -  5 minutes energetic cosmic flight with chic air percussion and romantic synthesizers - certainly the main decoration of the release.
"An Introduction To Consumer Electronics" will be out at the begining of 2018, limited to 300 copies. Don't sleep on this one !

Space Motion from Serbia is a pure, raw talent. Recently he's gotten international acclaim from artists like Solomun and Black Coffee, both big shots in the industry who are heavily supporting Space Motion's music.

It's the perfect dancefloor tool for dj's where Space Motion mixes african elements with harmonic instruments and a strong bassline. On the other hand the storytelling is strong in this one and the trancy progression in the break builds up perfectly to a powerful yet emotional drop.

Opening the EP is title track Upperground, an ethereal upbeat House tune which has been an essential component of the sets of Solomun in the past weeks. Atlas showcases their ability to step over to the dark side with a fist-pumping melodic Techno thumper.Closing off the record is Dont Bring Me Down, which was written by Dino Lenny and enhanced by ARTBATs brush into an emotional dancefloor hymn. The pairing of its string arrangements and the touching vocals of Dino Lenny will surely make for memories that last past the night out in which you hear it.

We are turning the page of our next edition of 'Terra Incognita', the third edition full of different and diverse paths it can lead the listeners to. Starting we reveal Habischman - the experienced Iranian producer, releasing his music via top notch labels as Noir Music, Dubfire's SCI+TEC and Get Physical. 'Aperture' comes as a great opener, conjuncted as a delicate blend of vintage dub-chords, elegant vocals and dramatic, hypnotic synths. Italian producer Stephan Jolk, who is putting out his music lately with Hommage and Beatfreak Recordings, can definitely make the synthesizers breathe. His 'Overdub' is a perfect combination of the minimalistic approach to the world of melodies: the pulsing melodic themes are wisely placed into sharply produced strained beat, which are coming together as a great tune as a result. US based artist Enamour has shown himself as a very promising artist, working with the labels as Yoshitoshi and Anjunadeep, so the stated words of Enamour to be a 'a curator of dark, infectious grooves and wistful atmospheres' is perfectly describing this talented producer at his best. 'Pet Paradox' is a firm thing, lying somewhere between genres and far ahead trends. Argentinian Tomy Wahl delivers his stomper 'Matka' next on the line: a powerful bass shaped track with a dramatic piano breakdown and glitchy proper drums. We close a pack with 'Hong Kong Harbour' track from Netherlands based producer Tom Zeta (Diynamic, Einmusika, KATERMUKKE). This work, mainly exposing with the main detuned synth sound, is finishing the exploration of another Terra Incognita, which became known to you now. This time we welcome French maestro for his debut full 'Barbak' EP on Eleatics.
The main title 'Barbak' track is neatly and masterfully produced unit, being explosive enough to be the epicentre of any set.
