As you may know or not, I'm back from tour with Uneven Structure and we're currently working hard at writing new stuff. Here's some meh riffs and a mix test.

Potential headache riff

Tried to reproduce a drum n bass pattern with metal instruments in a realistic way, meaning the drummer doesn't needs 4 arms and there are no tempo-changing tremolos and eqs all the way. As long as there is a funk-style rhythm guitar in the background that replaces the crazy ghost notes, things seems to work. Didn't really work the main bass/rhythm guitar part, but with some fancy muted notes and harmonics, there must be a way to do something cool! Original track : Foreign Beggars &amp; Noisia - Contact
