Berlin-based Electro/Pop duo Yeah But No announce the release of the latest addition to "Demons Remixes", a series of carefully chosen remixes accompanying their sophomore album "Demons".

Yeah But No is comprised of Douglas Greed and Fabian Kuss. Merging electronic music with classic song structures into a smart and captivating listening enjoyment is the band's objective ever since they started collaborating. 

Being on the road constantly, Yeah But No have shaped and redefined their musical vision of the band. Dealing with inner and outer conflicts and contrarieties, "Demons" is a slightly darker and more mature piece of music than the bands previous releases. 

Following the two marvelous works by Mollono.Bass and Andreas Henneberg, now Berlin/Rotterdam-based DJ, producer and owner of House/Techno-label AEON, Alex Niggemann, gets involved. He transfers the bands recent Single "Run Run Run" into a dark and hypnotising Melodic House track. 

As classically trained pianist, and a tireless character in the world of electronic music, Alex Niggemann is used to change perspective, und crossing musical boarders. Always embracing the new and constantly pushing boundaries of the music he loves so much, and updating it for the future.

We kick off here with Vortex, which is an absolute Techno monster. Tough beats & a rugged bass-line carry tripped out pads, synth twitters, subtle melodic percussion & the sickest acid lines giving us some driving peak time action. 

Next up Semantics takes up where Vortex left off. Tough beats, yet another rugged bass-line & this time tribal percussion create the backbone. Eerie pads swell setting the feeling for the quirky acid to take us away with.

Lastly comes Rubicon, up-tempo electro at it’s finest. Off beats, sub-bass & an acid bass-line set up the warm rich deep pads to carry the trippy acid melodies that will float you away.

Melodic Techno/ Electro Liveset

Some time around 2009 I started fiddling around with home studio and digital recording gear as a kind of side interest. It was really cool to be able to make my own beats at home without having a band to depend on. Music production comes with a very steep learning curve and the learning never really ends; however, I now have a pretty solid understanding of the process. While I don’t know everything I feel that the hundreds of hours I’ve spent in my studio composing, playing and recording my own music are finally paying off. I can now produce my own original musical tracks from start to finish including composition, mixing and mastering.
