Mawenzi is a French DJ and resident of DERESTRICT in Geneva.  She has been immersed in music since childhood, studying violin at a conservatory for several years. Now turning to techno, she moves between rave and industrial techno, mixed with mental sonorities. She likes to immerse the public in a dark and energetic atmosphere at the same time.

Originally from Paris, she has made her way to the French-speaking techno scene, playing in renowned Swiss clubs such as La Gravière, La Makhno/Usine, La Case à Choc…

ANXIETY or ANXIETY ANXT, is an italian producer and DJ based in Triest, northen Italy. He's currently head alongside Nicola Virnicchi of DasKollektive Rec, he creates sounds and music based on raw, dark sounds and has industrial and metal influences. His work includes pubblication on big labels such as Insane Industry Recordings, Expel Your Demons, Carbone Records (with also in Beatport Top Hard Techno Charts of January), MOTZ, Flash Recordings, Blackout Collective as well as upcoming tracks on System and Derestrict. Currently working on big projects with artists all over the world, he is pursuing his vision and turning it into his reality!

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

ZORN: Our local techno and DJ scene is based more on hard techno and vocal trance. There are only a few DJs and events in the Industrial/Bochka area, but they stick together. An example of this are snutsch and Ziviler Ungehorsam as well as the event "Smallroom" at Forum Bielefeld. The sound of snutsch and Ziviler Ungehorsam and Tituz (from Berlin) inspired me to start making music too.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

ZORN: My set describes the ultimate ZORN sound: Fast, dark and driving

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

ZORN: My goal from the beginning was to reflect my sound exactly as in this set. I started DJing in January and since then, with incredible support from snutsch and Ziviler Ungehorsam, I've steadily improved my technique and track selection. Through my good friend Body Identification I have also trained my ear even more by teaching me the techniques of playing on vinyl.

RedLotus has always had a passion for music, starting with drumming at the young age of 7. Over the years he has explored various genres, from jazz and hiphop to postpunk and drum and bass, before finding his sound in Industrial Techno. He has mainly focused on producing, developing a dark and heavy sound with a focus on percussive grooves. This style is also reflected in his sets, which can be characterised by relentless kicks and rich soundscapes and grooves.
