The Definites Theme

Hal Ritson and Thomas Gandey met in the back room of an Osaka nightclub when Thomas broke Hal’s laptop by covering it with glitter. 

They hooked up back in the UK and made a dance track that did 4 million streams. Every time they get together to try and make a follow up, they decide dance is boring as fuck and spend their time making semi-improvised punk-adjacent nonsense instead, as Egoasis. 

Sometimes they add drums from Alex Reeves (Elbow) and solos from probably the greatest guitarist in history, Guthrie Govan. Though they never actually let Alex or Guthrie hear the tracks they are playing on. 

They then forget to release the music. Or when they do release it, they don’t let anyone know they have released the music, and absolutely no-one at all listens to it. 

Hal and Thomas are both very successful musicians. Egoasis is their opportunity to make music that is hated by both the algorithm and their entire fan base. But they love it like their firstborn child nonetheless.
