They can't stop and they won't stop! Robosonic's organic blend of classy house music
and classic hiphop has gone next level again. Some cats will file this under „deep
house“, others even under „G-house“ – both genre names which Sacha & Cord have
been reluctant to use for their own music. What does „G“ stand for anyway?! Golden-era, girls, gangsta, good feel..?! 
New York rap legend Masta Ace, originally part of the famed Juice Crew in the
mid-80s (with Marley Marl, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane among others!), known for
collaborations with artists such as MF Doom, influencing rappers like Eminem, and
still now known as one of the truest rappers alive, made a teenage dream come true
for Cord when he recorded an original feature part and hook for Robosonic on top of
their soulful "Good Old Feel"! A radio cut, boasting the full vocal performance by
Masta Ace, is not included in this 3-tracker, but rather saved up for the upcoming
Robosonic album. 
"Dedicated" is a raw take on the mid 90‘s sound of the west... a classic record from
Sacha's collection became the initial inspiration for the funkdoobiest house tool
Robosonic made so far. 
"Life is like" is another obvious tribute to real rap. Not only to Nas, who is quoted with
his very own ‚Illmatic‘ punchlines, but also to DJ Premier, his sample wizadry,
signature turntable hooks and countless milestones in hiphop production! There is
even a crafty shout out to Big L, who used to speak with criminal slang, until the sad
day he was shot...Celebrate life before it's over.

Im Jahre 1905 veröffentlichte Albert Einstein eine Theorie, die das bis dahin gültige Weltbild völlig auf den Kopf stellte. Er hatte entdeckt, dass die Zeit langsamer fließen und der Raum schrumpfen kann. Damit öffnete er uns das Tor in eine fremde, rätselhafte Welt. Jenseits unserer Wahrnehmung, scheinbar unerreichbar und doch zum greifen nah.

Unser Captain Illy Noize will euch diese Welt der verzerrten Wahrnehmung zeigen. Mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit, der einzigen Konstante im Weltraum, geht es durch die verwirrenden Theorien um Gravitation und Relativität. Dabei spielt die Anziehungskraft eine große Rolle. Albert Einstein hat probiert zu erklären, warum im Weltall sich Dinge aufeinander zu bewegen, obwohl dort doch Schwerelosigkeit herrscht. Wenn im All alles frei durch die Luft schwebt, wieso gibt es in diesem Chaos Regelmäßigkeiten. Dafür verantwortlich sind unglaubliche Dinge, die Einstein als „Krümmung der Raumzeit“ bezeichnet. 

Wir versuchen das Ganze mal am Set von Illy Noize zu veranschaulichen. Sein grandioses Set verzaubert uns und bekommt damit Gewicht in unserem Leben. Das verändert Raum und Zeit um uns herum. Die Zeit vergeht schneller und ist somit relativ und der Raum, in dem sich unsere Probleme befinden, schrumpft. Wir sind top gelaunt und laufen mit einem breiten Grinsen durch die Gegend. Das wiederum wirkt anziehend auf andere Lebewesen. Somit hat die Musik von Illy die Raumzeit gekrümmt und bewirkt, dass sich zwei Sachen anziehen.

During their studies of audio design, they merged their previous band backgrounds with an in-depth knowledge for rich arrangements while establishing Egokind & Ozean into a DJ duo as well as a live act. Releasing their first album „Transition“ in 2014, they were introduced as „Berlin’s new electronic generation of producers“ (Mixmag) convincing with a „prosperous debut LP“ (Groove Mag) by creating „intricately detailed electronic hybrids“ (XLR8R) between UK-infected house, dreamy ambient soundscapes, emotional electronica and deep techno grooves.
