Telling Tales 038 sees Djuma Soundsystem weave our latest story in sound in a mix intertwining cosmic, afro and tech influences.

Now based in Copenhagen, Norwegian artist Djuma Soundsystem was catapulted into the public's consciousness over a decade ago with his club classic 'Les Djinns' on Get Physical Music. 

Djuma's organic, sample-heavy signature sound is on show in this Teling Tales via his collaboration with Westerby on ‘Disambigua’, the pair's much-anticipated follow up to smash hit ‘Koma Kobache’ (Get Physical).

Telling Tales is a series of podcasts giving one of the Chapter 24 family, one of our remixers, or one of our headliners an opportunity to deliver us a story in sound. These mixes are sure to separate the signal from the noise.

Powel is using particularly delicious elderflowers, which gives the Hugo this distinct, refreshing flavour: deep, through and through, dreamy but still moving and, very multifaceted. It has a wonderful build-up and joyfully reminds us of deep house in the earlier days.  
Powel is part of various musical projects but his current focus lies on producing and DJing. His releases on labels such as Keller, Wunderbar Recordings, Fina Records and All Day I Dream shortly catapulted him to the heights of the global scene.

Luca Cataldo, based in Umbria, is a multimedia artist specializing in the creation of visual audio installations, big screenings, vjing and djing. After years of audio/visual performances in Italy his entrance in the Roman underground scene, he started his international adventure, getting involved in more than 50 European projects as a coordinator, trainer and multimedia artist.

Luca aims to always deliver aesthetic journeys that provide immersive experiences for heterogeneous audiences.

Meaningful Nonsense

A cold and rainy day in Berlin and it's my first time to be there with a winter jacket :D So heyho,- let's have some warm thoughts keep a smile on the freezy face and the people around me reflected on my way to my favorite club Sisyphos.
This time i'll gonna play at 1 a.m. at the Schneune-Floor and it's again a real pleasure for me. For sure I'm very excited what to expect :)
The DJ before did a good job but I want to creat my own atmo and so let's start the things slowly but with a special kind of subliminal preassure :)
and...
the audience stays...
they close their eyes...
they start to move to the beat...

Just do the same and listen to that mix and feel what happennd in the next 4 hours ;)
For me it was amazing again and a lot of smiling and screaming faces send me so much energy that I had finished my set with a real massive thankfull feeling :) THANKS once more to the audience and THX once more to Sisyphos for sure,- I'm still in love with you ;)
