When UK producer Tesfa Williams and South African singer-songwriter Sio were first introduced, the symbiotic nature of their relationship was evident from the start. Born out of meaningful conversations across just four days in the studio in London, they laid the foundations to create records rich in personal connection and creative trust. Following the release of ‘Peace’ on The Remedy Project, they now reveal the first single ‘Fortnite’ from their forthcoming album project on STY TRU BTS. Explaining the thoughts behind her trademark poeticism on ‘Fortnite’ Sio explains, “I took back my power from my elders and society by defining my own path and identity as a woman of colour in the world so the “game” would favour me.” Paired with Tesfa’s thoughtful production, ‘Fortnite’ makes for a spellbinding preview of what is to come from these two influential artists.

Crafted over four days at Strong Room Studios based in Shoreditch, London, the album moves from tracks "Fortnite" to "Continents" to "Outside" with purpose. Sio explores autonomy, healing, and self-definition, while Williams beats flow, laying the sonic framework. Sió holds the pen and the mic, with each word landing intently.

Born with a passion for rhythm, my musical journey began at the age of 16 as a drummer. This early experience shaped my sense of timing and sound, laying the foundation for my love of music. 
At 18, I ventured into the electronic music world and found my calling as a DJ and producer in the realm of Electronic Dance Music. The hypnotic beats, subtle melodies, and fascination with the sonic landscapes of the genre captivated me from the start. Over the years, I have showcased my art on various stages, whether in radio shows or live events. These performances have allowed me to share my unique interpretation of electronic music with a wide audience. 
The energy of the crowd and the immediate connection to the music continually drive me to refine my skills and evolve my sounds. My productions reflect my journey and passion.
