This is the recording of my DJ set at Berghain on sunday morning 6th of February 2011, between 8 and 12am. Deep respect to Stroboscopic Artefacts for having me as part of the line-up, the Berghain crew for being the perfect hosts and last but not least that massive pack of dancing nutters on the floor (especially the Belgian delegation present for the occasion). This is a one hour recording of the HALO all nighter last December at Shelter Amsterdam. Where you would normally see a set climb upwards all night, we went the opposite way of ‘climbing downwards’. This seems counterintuitive at first, but I often find this subtle, introverted euphoria more interesting and rewarding than chasing climax after climax. All night long sets make these deviations from the norm possible. Happy listening!
