Einmusik is a master of melodic techno, and his unique sound has been lighting up nightclubs and dancefloors around the world for over a decade. Paige’s DJ sets and productions are a sonic extension of himself. I decided with this longer style mix, that I would chose a lot of tracks old and new, some well known and many not so much, all of varying housey vibes, some vocal and deeper, while some get acidic and tougher, but always with a house slant. I suppose its kind of music that I would play back at an after party, and delving deep with lots of gems that I play in my sets. 

I’ve been a DJ since the late 80’s, so as you can imagine, I’ve amassed a heck of a lot of music, so I love to play older tracks, that may spark a memory, or give a particular flavour of sound from a certain era, creating a certain mood, and then I like to gently shift vibes thought the mixes, keeping you groovin’, but with a chunkiness at times, rather than keeping to one specific flavour throughout. There’s so much music around, and some of it comes and goes in a matter of weeks, and so I wanted to bring a light on some of these tracks, while interspersing with fresh tracks.

XYZ Selectors 110 - Helsloot

Last December, I played at Stereobar in my hometown Montreal… in the middle of my set someone threw $100 on the decks, gave me a thumbs up, and just disappeared in the crowd. 😂 I’ve never experienced this before and DJs don’t usually receive tips but not complaining and shoutout to you if you’re reading this, you made my night!

That gig was so so special and I decided to record my set. Just posted the second part of the set. We kept the crowd's sound so that somehow you can feel a bit of that magic vibe.
