XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the underground's finest selectors.

On the cusp of his inaugural release with XYZ,  we proudly welcome INVŌKER to the show - an artist who has established himself as a captivating, innovative, and fearless force. 

The mix is a testament to a new era for the label, with an array of avant-garde, intriguing, and driving tracks that showcase INVŌKER's flair for the eclectic and his ability to weave it together flawlessly. "This mix is very special to me as it reflects my versatile essence quite well in just over an hour. There are slower, more mysterious tracks mixed with a few of those tracks that can rip any dance floor apart. My Scandinavian side is represented through Nandu and Radeckt, two artists that I've come to admire deeply over the past year and I couldn't possibly make a mix without adding something by Martin Cozar, one of my absolute favorite producers at the moment. You'll also find some of that distinctive Israeli indie dance sound that I've come to love over the years in there through two killer edits of classic songs (I am a sucker for the classics!) by PINTO. and Made In TLV. Closing the mix with a track by Maceo Plex, who's without any doubt the artist that has inspired me the most this far through my career, was a no-brainer. Marginalia welcomes more bubbling top-tier talent to the label with the release of its first ever VA compilation, ‘Bestiary Vol. 1’. 

Released worldwide on Friday, February 23, Marginalia’s ‘Bestiary Vol. 1’ VA features a total of seventeen unique productions from a selection of artists whose immaculate productions have become a mainstay in Elif’s DJ sets over the past twelve months. 

A term dating back to the Middle Ages – roughly translating to ‘an encyclopaedia of beasts’ – the first instalment of ‘Bestiary’ is  accompanied by a continuous mix of all tracks from Elif, as she welcomes an array of Marginalia mainstays and debuting talent to the label for an epic compendium of discerning dance floor cuts.

Joining returning artists Althoff, Jaffer and MANTi, are an incredible fifteen debutant acts – Ayan, Esin, Evade, I Promised Mom, Juan Gioffre, Mumboi, Mrqz, Rebrn, Sam Farsio, Samet Gunal, Sebastian Duarte, Snirco, Tenvin, Tito Azevedo and VALON & LERM – all of whom bring their own unique contributions to the first chapter of Marginalia’s ‘Bestiary’ VA series; a package which showcases some of the very finest interpretations of underground house and techno on the label to date.
