H2O is a french producer based in Paris, raised between forest & sea, she sails on sensitive audio fluids. Dynamic and biodegradable, she fluctuates between audio eco-systems and burning LFO waves. 
Mainly known for her live acts using only octatrack sampler, she properly started DJing this year. 
This new way to share music is expanding her influences and is a new beginning in her sonorous exploration.

H2O about the chapter and the mix : 

La Perla Sanguinosa resumed: 
To free the beloved Juga, kidnapped by a powerful religious sect, the skillful pearl fisherman Palicur kills a sectarian. He will end up deported to Port Cornwallis, the notorious penal bath of the Andaman Islands. The only chance to get Juga back is the recovery of the famous and venerated "Bloody Pearl", a red pearl of extraordinary size stolen from the statue of Siddharta Gautama on which it was and ended, after many vicissitudes, between the seabed of the banks of Manaar. A spectacular escape, favored by the help of two companions of misfortune, the mulatto and machinist Jody and Will, former quartermaster of the English navy, will lead Palicur to the recovery of the pearl and the liberation of Juga. But the misadventures experienced to reach the desired goal will be made more dangerous by Guercio, treacherous character, already unwelcome fellow prisoner of the three, to which the forced cohabitation had caused several headaches.

The mix starts with foggy, threatening tracks representing the chaos created by the kidnapping of Juga and Palicur’s imprisonment. 
Confusion, strength and melancholia are significantly appearing during the whole set. 
“Pursuit - Esoterik ” emphasize Palicur’s escape from prison and the pursuit of “La Perla Sanguinosa”: a dangerous and magic oddisee across lands and sea clocked by accidental meetings (Guercio) and adventures. 
Mystic as well as fear and memories punctually emerge in Palicur’s head. 
Finally, Palicur manages to find back his beloved Juga.
The set ends with the peaceful yet mysterious track “Feel” from Hiroshi Yoshima, reminding the feeling we experience after a big trauma, in which we can’t ever find peace, as the future might hide another twist …

Here is the introductory mini-guide (or as they say ‘special’) to the film music of the iconic Japanese composer Toru Takemitsu (武満 徹, 1930-1996).

Takemitsu’s soundtracks are as plentiful as his vast catalogue of orchestral and chamber music, so many hours would be required to make it justice. Instead of being exhaustive, chronological or stylistically homogenous this audio-primer is focused on showcasing Takemitsu’s gift of compositional versatility. Be it jazz, Japanese traditional music, postserialism, symphonic grandeur or drone music I tried to include all of this composer’s aesthetical facets.

In order to render this eclecticism in a coherent way I’ve chosen the method of ‘audio-tapestry’ or sound collage.  Extensive details on the particular works that have been selected as well as very long tracklist are featured at the link below. I hope this mini-guide will spark some listener’s interest for a deeper exploration on their own time.
