Immersion dans les origines de la Bass avec Leto. Producteur et dj, il dédie son art au mouvement Bass Music en explorant ses genres et ses origines dissidentes. 
Avec son collectif Left Over Dubs, il répand les wobble sur sur la ville de Lyon avec la ferveur envie de réunir les érudit de la Bass autour d'une vision épurée et pointue du genre.

- T'es qui mec ? 

Je suis LeTo, aussi Florent, producteur lyonnais et dj de multiples genres de Bass Music. Les transformations de cette musique et comment les cultures du monde l’infectent, ça me fascine. J’aime le jeu collectif, j’ai été l’acteur du True Lyon Crew dès 2012 et aujourd’hui nous avons avec Nasty J monté Leftover Dubs.
Ce podcast que je vous offre est le remake du set que j’ai joué aux NS cette année, forcément moins dark que d’habitude, mais qui accélère beaucoup comme j’aime.

- Des projets en cours ? 

C’est une bien riche saison qui touche à sa fin, avec 3 EP publiés, autant de VA, plein de podcasts, plein de rencontres et de dubplates échangées. Je prépare aujourd’hui la suivante. En plus des tracks, ce que je prépare c’est un radioshow et un label qui naîtront l’an prochain. L’objet de notre projet Leftover Dubs est de mettre en valeur une certaine culture UK à base de sons progressifs et de morceaux exclusivement taillés pour le soundsystème.

Quels sont les artistes ou projets qui t'inspirent sur la scène locale ? 

Nous sommes devenus très peu à faire ce que je fais dans la ville. J’ai beaucoup d’admiration pour ceux qui restent : Flore, Nasty J, et pour ceux qui poussent : Sounds Of La Cave, Axonberg. F4T, Totaal Dubz, Airflex Lab, BassFreakDogz, BassCulture, Impact continuent de m’inspirer, et la folie du Rumble Festival restera gravée.

Comment aimerais-tu voir évoluer la scène électronique Lyonnaise ? 

L’énergie des jeunes comme Physical Tool, Phase et Prisme me rappelle celle de Lyon à mon arrivée, et auprès du public et des curateurs ma musique connait un vrai revival. J’ai un œil dessus et c’est ce qui me donne envie de m’activer. J’ai qu’un seul regret, c’est que je n’aie pas plus de dubplates lyonnaises dans ma clé usb. J’aimerais que des producteurs émergent, je suis là pour leur donner des coups de main. Enfin, je rêve, mais j’aimerais que les soundsystèmes des petits clubs s’améliorent afin que tout le monde puisse être entendu.

The last few years have seen a bloom of talent in the Australian underground music scene. Melbourne and Sydney are alive and vibrating with artists covering all spectrums of electronic music, from ambient to drum & bass and everything in between.
Even though he’s been active for several years, Scotland-born, Melbourne-based, Alex Dickson aka Pugilist caught our attention with his ‘Blue 06’ release on AD93 (fka Whities) a little over a year ago. Ever since, we’ve been closely following the work of this talented multi-genre producer.
Alex's style lays its roots in dubstep and bass music which recently has also been influenced by dub techno. Besides his production talent, Pugilist’s skills behind the decks are truly impressive. His mixes are expertly executed, eclectic, rhythmical journeys, that are very well suited for a dance floor.
In the absence of parties, we hope that this marvelous mix Pugilist made for us will transform your room into a party dungeon.
