Another collection of 15 Original Unmixed Underground Tracks collected to reenvisage / reimagine the golden era of Rave.

 Back in the early days of Rave, Underground DJ's and Producers experimented, evolving the early Acid House movement at speed. Fusing Techno with Breakbeats and pushing the BPM's ever higher, Jungle Techno and Hardcore spread across the land mutating constantly.  We asked the artists in this compilation to hark back to that era and produce us something that would in some way pay homage to that time.

 From authentic sounding Acid House and Jungle to more forward thinking Techno and J-Tek this compilation really captures the Top Drawer Digital ethos.

For second Melodic Techno release we welcome hiob on LAPS Recordings! hiob is a DJ/Producer from Hannover, Germany who has founded his own label not long ago. His sound immediately convinced our whole team and stands out among other producers in the genre with dark synth melodies and an exceptional sound design! 

Both of his tracks on LAPS 005 have a really dark aura and are faster than many other tracks in the genre. Their tempo and groovy Basslines make them a perfect fit for the dancefloor! 

Harmomic disorder has a dark vibe and the dissonant drones and synth shots build a nice contrast to the shuffled hats and the groovy bassline. 

Salvation is more straightforward and the arp harmonizes very well with the distorted bass stabs. 

Kid Kun, who has been in the game for a while and shares a history of collaborations with multiple LAPS Artists, contributes the 3rd tune on the release: a Remix of Harmonic Disorder that perfectly translates the mood of track into a breakbeat tune!
