Following the release of their recent compilation, Nothing Is Real return with a four-track EP by Italian producer Gabriele Lori, aka Astroloop. Astroloop recently made a name for himself with his collaborative release on Jimpster's widely admired Freerange Records. Carrying on the momentum with his ‘Right Before’ EP, the upcoming artist finesses his way through guitar loaded dark disco chug. Our beloved house producer, Hemi, arrives on Duro with 'Whispers'. He's been around for some time operating from Istanbul, Turkey, both as a DJ, producer, promoter or film-maker. To follow the single we invited the mind behind Frank Music label, Johannes Albert. German DJ & producer resident from the notorious Berlin party hotspot Renate.

The opener is the original version, a cut fueled by forceful drums, a power-driven sinewy bass, mixed with a barrage of resonant percussions, a deep piano riff, and a contrast of distant, spectral vocals alongside wacky synthesizers. 

On the b side we have the remix made by Johannes Albert, a solid, electrifying and ethereal track. Dynamic drums accompanied by a shocker bass, liquid and centrifugal synthesizers and undulating pianos, a lightning bolt to the dance floor.

As soon as we realized just how serious the COVID19 situation was, all of us here at AEON Towers felt strongly that we must try to do something to help.

The virus had put an end to all live events so putting on an AEON party for charity wasn’t an option. With that in mind we felt we should do something around the label. It was also important to us to involve our AEON family too which is why the obvious answer was to open up some of our catalogue by way of a remix competition, with the winning remixes being released and all the profit being donated to the WHO COVID19 Response Fund.

We were mind blown and humbled by, not only the number of remixes that were submitted, but also the high quality of the music. It made choosing the best ones a very difficult task. We think we chose the best ones though, and we will release the results on July 3rd via Bandcamp only.

To those of you who can afford it, please dig deep and help us raise some money for a very good cause!

A special thanks goes to everyone who worked for free on this project permitting us to collect every cent only for charity!
