Jaime Sagastibeltza & Borja Campión aka The Two Mamarrachos (T2MM) are finally back to Nein Records. Their forthcoming “Silk Road” does not link China with Rome as the legendary trade route did, but brings the Spanish duo successfully flirting with some of their Orient influences through two outstanding originals. The icing on the cake comes in the form of three solid remixes made with love by Vleks, Csk (SXDNS088), and MI.RO.

Amid the most solicited artists of the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene, T2MM’s works can be found on important labels – besides NEIN – such as Logical, tici taci, Dogs & Vultures, Shara Music, Rotten City Files, and Playground.

Remixing a piece from the prominent duo must be quite an intricate task, but rising Mexican producer Vleks accepted the challenge and succeed admirably. His interpretation of “Special Key” is more bouncing and less Orient-influenced, and also faster (123 BPM) in comparison to the original (120 BPM), turning it into a proper Latino-influenced Dark Disco theme.

Our beloved house producer, Hemi, arrives on Duro with ‘Whispers’. He’s been around for some time operating from Istanbul, Turkey, both as a DJ, producer, promoter or film maker. To follow the single we invited the mind behind Frank Music label, Johannes Albert. German DJ & producer resident from the notorious Berlin party hotspot Renate.

The opener is the original version, a cut fueled by forceful drums, a power-driven sinewy bass, mixed with a barrage of resonant percussions, a deep piano riff, and a contrast of distant, spectral vocals alongside wacky synthesizers.

On the b side we have the remix made by Johannes Albert, a solid, electrifying and ethereal track. Dynamic drums accompanied by a shocker bass, liquid and centrifugal synthesizers and undulating pianos, a lightning bolt to the dance floor.

After Innellea played most of the tracks of the compilation in live sets and podcasts, people
have asked for them a lot. “We live in a world dominated by fast pace. The ability to access
anything, anywhere, at any time leads to an enormously short survival time - even for
releases in the music industry.” That's why Innellea has chosen to not release the songs
immediately to create something that can keep its shine for a longer time as a complete
piece of art. To finish the past and initiate the future, Innellea decided now to release some
of this tracks. As icing on the cake he made very limited edition of a fair trade, organic cotton
long sleeve shirt in the course of the release. The shirt comes together with the eleven track
compilation.
