The latest release welcomes Carlos Palacio from Argentina to the label with his "Aural In Balance EP". Chär Spinelli, Mati Vaira, Diego Acosta (UY) and Manuel Jofre got invited to do a remix.

Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. Sitting alongside fellow subdivisions 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds, Future Avenue looks to provide a home for new and rising talent. With an ethos centred around progressive music and its surrounding derivatives, the label is a platform which gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their music alongside established veterans as they carve out their own musical identity.

Carlos Palacio - Aural in Balance (Chär Spinelli Remix) [Future Avenue]

Hitting the heights once more on their Meanwhile imprint, GMJ & Matter turn to the iconic figure of Navar for the label’s 38th release as he delivers his 3-track “Return of the Sun”.

A dazzling career that spans over a decade and a double century of releases, Navar has seen his music featured on the likes of Guy J’s Lost & Found, Cid Inc’s Replug and Eelke Kleijn’s Outside The Box Music.

Now returning to Meanwhile after his remix of Alex O’Rion’s “The Chase” in February 2022, the “Return of the Sun” title track is a compelling blend of rhythmic dynamism and trademark melodic prowess. Building over the course of its coruscating 9-minute voyage, elegant and flowing melodies drift atop a deep kick and shimmering hi-hats. Redolent in cascading delays, blissful warmth radiates through the sonic layers that pause briefly for breath at the two-thirds point, before picking up the pace in the latter stages in a work where new motifs enter the aural collage.

Opening with atmospheric pads and rippling effects, “Trips” slowly hits is stride with heavy beat and clicking percussive groove. A subtle and intelligent offering, delicate melodies play across the mid-range in syncopated delays while a seismic legato bassline pitches its way in lockstep with the rhythmic foundation. The result is a shimmering beauty that unexpectedly draws to a dramatic and vibrant conclusion with a new 16th note bassline groove in the final movement.

The aptly titled “Luminescence” concludes the triptych with a huge bassline groove and velvety synth line that scuds across the sonic landscape in stereo-panned glory. Stratified layers of sound make their play as twinkling keys and counterpoint motifs rise and fall in a beautifully woven tapestry. The result is the perfect juxtaposition of low-end vibrancy and majestic melodic touch that is a hallmark of the Navar production sound.

A renowned artist who has always shone brightly in the electronic music firmament, Navar glows incandescent with “Return of the Sun”.

Spring 2018 saw Mexican artist, Hot Tuneik, debut on Proton Music with "Revival". Now returning to the EP, new remixes from esteemed producers provide a fresh new perspective.

The ‘double-headed dragon' that comprises the Lanvary production duo has seen Alex and Andrew become a major force in the electronic music scene. Diverse musical perspectives have seen the pair delight with a musical recipe that combines elements from progressive and deep house with techno flourishes in a distinct and unique sound. Over a century of production credits can be found next to the Lanvary name since an early debut for Underphunk in late 2010. Going on to see their music featured on Stellar Fountain, Mistique Music and Particles, their work for the latter has found success with a trio of original EPs in 2015's "Micromegas", 2016's "Penumbra" and 2017's "Leviathan". Lanvary's work for Proton Music is centred around the superb "Venus" in December 2017, while a pair of remixes for Matter is now followed by a wonderful reworking of "Memories". Hitting hard with dominant beat and ticking off-beat percussion, a sumptuous bass groove quickly makes its presence felt as the melodic elements of the original resonate through the Lanvary interpretation. The pulsating string motifs from Hot TuneiK's track rise and fall throughout and a host of new production material supply dynamic dance-floor credentials to keep club-goers happy with a seamless blend of rhythm and melody.

Hot TuneiK's "Revival" is complete as new remixes from Matter and Lanvary reinvent and revitalise.

“Everything You Feel” continues the Lanvary story with a title track that is a rich sonic tapestry full of melodic vibrancy and bristling percussive framework. Anchored by a dominant kick, a strong bassline
groove carries the track ever forwards while sumptuous pads gently pulsate, accompanied by a soaring string progression that comes fully to the fore at the breakdown. Hitting its stride in the
second half, a subtle arpeggiated sequence adds to the aural collage while cleverly processed vocal phrases link back to earlier movements.

Partner track, “Late Bloom” continues Lanvary’s penchant for strong melodic architecture as a plucked groove holds sway against a strong rhythmic foundation and ticking percussive cadence. Marrying the different elements together impressively, a growling bassline provides
low-end menace as a series of question and answer motifs fire across the left-right spectrum with ease. Evolving elegantly multiple shimmering arpeggios come into full sonic range in the
second half to create a dizzying melodic structure that hits rarefied heights into the third movement.

With rare precision, Lanvary push the musical senses to new heights with “Everything You Feel”.
