Cales & Mr. Hyde artistic concept is also the reason of his Stage Name, inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson` tale "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde": He is one human being composed of two music entities. In his work domains the house music nature, its fresh, melodic and bright spirit, driven and rhythmically influenced by the energy of the deep and tech sounds.

From this concept was born a unique and special style, an amalgam of sounds that revolve around darkness and light, and that feeds his live performances, as well as his producer and composer work in studio (Dualism Records, Tretmuehle, CandyBeach, My Own Beat Records).  The result is an experience between the beauty of the contemplative state of mind, and the joy that provides the groove: funky, infectious and addictive.
