LAMP and PUZL Records are thrilled to welcome Pascal Pur into the family with the release of Shifting. Shifting is a beautiful two track EP that fully displays Pascal’s distinctive artistic vision.

The EP’s title track ‘Shifting’ is a bright melodic house tune that offers an interesting contrast between the ambient sounds of nature and tirelessly produced melodies of the studio. ‘Shifting’ brings us back and forth between a forest glade and an evening in the city with images conjured by a drilling woodpecker, spacy chords, and a pulsating bassline.

Slightly darker in mood than the A-Side, ‘Clay’ offers us another distinct and captivating track. ‘Clay’ features a deep, almost tribal kick, an interesting sample in the verses that almost sounds like a classic harpsichord, and a whole range of beautifully produced melodies.
