for the 6th consecutive year already, we're hailing the sun, the summer and the best time of the year. Again, we've tried to find the best music to transport the ultimate summer feeling and yes, we found titles screaming sunshine, outdoor dancing and lots of fun. As always, we're presenting the exclusive contributions a bit earlier under the name "BT", split into two parts this time, and later as a part of the full "BBQ Techno“ compilation, enriched with highlights out of our repertoire! 
This is part one, featuring exclusive music by our sun worshipers Echonomist & Thodoris Triantafillou, Patlac and Alex Schaufel.

03 Alex Schaufel - Abyss (Snippet)

Its been a busy time for Rob Hes since his last appearance on SCI+TEC just over a year ago. His EP ‘The Prophecy’ kicked off a strong run of releases that’s seen him feature on Tronic, ELEVATE, KD Raw and a debut with Josh Wink’s Ovum Recordings. Today the Dutchman returns to SCI+TEC with his latest wares and shows he’s learnt even more ’Tricks of The Trade’.

The cavernous feeling of the title track envelops the listener while its echoing gong and rolling bassline create its fierce groove. Rob ramps things on ‘Who’s The Wolf’, with its sinister synths devastating drive, before we’re treated to the bouncing single note melody and fantastic finalé of ‘The Greater Good’. 

With ‚Tricks of The Trade’ Rob rolls out another SCI+TEC smash confirming, as if it were needed, just why he’s one of the hottest and most in demand producers of today.

We just can't get enough from Paul Ursin as he seems to be on fire at the moment. This is his 3rd release with the Noir Music family in 2016 and even though we carfully handpick the best music from this guy he just keep shooting great stuff after us.
“Sinthesis Vol. 2” is a proper follow to Vol. 1 and on this release you will hear Mr. Ursin return to his tech house roots on “Speak” and “80's Rooms”. On “Saturn Recall” he keeps the raw techno vibes from Vol. 1 and with “Way Out” he goes down the more melodic route with rolling arps and melodies. So... as we hear it...... a little something for everyone or those who just cant help but playing all the tracks

Another rolling slab of unfettered groove, this time much darker, tribal and hypnotic, but loaded with a serious subversion midway; by the time this really kicks in you’ve lost your plus one and you won’t find them until the end of the night. 
Finally we close with a bang as ‘Revolver’ fires shots in all directions. Another warm, timeless analogue chugger, another brilliantly trippy twist midway, another example of why Dalfie keeps getting called back to Pets again and again. Tell us what you think…
