We are a Romanian-born duo now London based DJ's whose name inspiration came from the pioneer DJ legend and producer Guy Gerber. After more than a decade of musical experience growing up and listening to minimal and techno era and dj's such as Ritchie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Dixon, Ame and many more quickly introduced us into DJ'ing. We finally decided to take it to the next level and became professional DJ's. Good taste in music comes with years of listening and selecting the best artist that are out there in all kind of genres. Spanish producer Benja Molina @benja-molina presents his new EP, “Small Town Night”, released by Univack. This three-track journey delivers an exquisite blend of melodic, emotive, and sophisticated Progressive House, where past, present, and a forward-thinking vision of the genre converge seamlessly.

The EP opens with its title track, a very special collaboration with legendary German project Blind Passengers, who contribute the original vocals from their iconic 90s release of the same name. Benja offers a contemporary rework of this classic gem, bringing it into today’s avant-garde sound with a dynamic groove, immersive textures, and a melodic breakdown filled with emotional depth.

Next comes “Atacama”, inspired by the majestic landscapes of the Chilean desert. Arpeggiated progressions, interwoven harmonies, and a cinematic, epic atmosphere evoke the vastness and mystery of the region.
The EP closes with “If You Need Me”, where sensual vocal phrases, a warm, solid groove, and Benja Molina’s signature melodic touch shape a track that’s deep, heartfelt, and emotionally resonant.

“Small Town Night” is a tribute to the legacy of electronic music, while also offering a fresh and moving sonic language—perfectly aligned with Univack’s vision: music that connects with the dancefloor, but also with memory and soul.
