Ready for another House track? How about some real house, from a time before the mp3 changed the game and before sync buttons even existed? Then we’ve got 4 for you this time around, all remixes from Blunted Dummies 1993 ‘House For All’. First up is Berlin-local Ruede Hagelstein with his atmospherically charged remix, taking the tone down just a bit giving the track multiple uses, from home-listening to mid-morning afterhour sets. Next up is DJ. T. who takes the energy up again with his remix. Heavy percussion and a solid bassline-drive give new meaning to the beloved classic. House legend DJ Pierre also tries his hand, keeping much of the original spirit intact, while modernizing and tweaking just enough to get to most out of it. Finally John Aquaviva closes the package with heavy kicks and that sweet low end bass we have come to love.

An artist with sizeable success across his South American home, Juan Deminicis has been at the vanguard of the underground dance scene for a decade. Proton Music is therefore delighted to welcome him back with "Life on the Moon".

Hailing from the bustling, cosmopolitan Buenos Aries capital, Deminicis sought inspiration from a host of leading names including Nick Warren, James Zabiela and fellow countryman, Hernan Cattaneo. Quickly finding his feet in the clubs of his hometown and across the country, the Argentinean became an established figure with performances at Bahrein, Fruta and Club Nina.

In tandem, a production career has been no less impressive. Over 270 release credits can thus be found against the Juan Deminicis name for a plethora of high-calibre imprints including Click, Lost and Found and Sudbeat. Indeed, the "Babel" EP was a notable highlight for the Cattaneo led imprint in early 2016 as was August 2018's "Umbra" for Dutch label, Click Records.

Supported across the clubs of the world by leading lights that include Guy J, Nick Warren and John Digweed, Deminicis has been a regular on Proton Music with a 2012 debut alongside Pablo Acenso coming in the shape of "Downshifting"; the stunning "Behind the Sun" EP coming a year later. Remixed by Guy Mantzur, Khen and James Monro has kept Juan Deminicis at the cutting edge of underground dance. Returning in March 2018 to remix GMJ's "Push Through", we are privileged to welcome Juan Deminicis back to the label.

The title track is a beautifully crafted affair that evolves effortlessly over its near eight-minute voyage. Strong beat and cavernous bassline, coupled with offbeat shaker pattern, create an epic bouncing groove that lays the perfect foundation for a swathe of analogue melodies to shimmer and sparkle in freeform patterns. Full of dancefloor credentials, delay and reverb create a spacious effect that truly gives rise to "Life on the Moon".

Partner track, "Tao the King" immediately makes its mark with huge bouncing bassline and techno rhythm. Redolent in white-noise effects, a sublime motif filters into sonic range as an analogue lead fills the airwaves with crystal clarity and an updated retro vibe creates a series of textured layers that resonate with Vangelis and a rich sci-fi scoundscape. Hitting its stride in the third movement with detuned arpeggio, the resultant track is a modern sonic masterpiece.

With two new tracks forming a new musical landscape, Juan Deminicis can be rightfully proud of "Life on the Moon".

Argentinian Producer, Ivan Sandhas, is back with his own EP on Modern Agenda. We thought it was time for some deep, slower melodies – the softer side of Progressive House. And Ivan delivers with his gorgeous Slipping Away EP.

The title track, Slipping Away, transports listeners into warm tones with an incredible flow. The synths and bass flirt with each other as the percussion stays understated in the mix, like a proper wingman. 
Deeply Hidden, Ivan's second track on the EP, is equally mellow and dulcet. Kicking it back another notch, honeyed piano chords drip throughout this orchestral maneuver. 

On remix duties, we have Diego Berrondo and EANP.

Diego Berrondo welcomed to the label with his energetic take on Slipping Away. Percussion-strong in the most delicious Progressive House vibes, Diego's remix is perfect for wrapping listeners in deep melodies, teasing them to move. 

EANP, also new to Modern Agenda and hot, hot, hot, these days, deliver profound sounds and a bit of grit with their remix. Beautifully crafted and introspective, those who are looking for the moodiness, this remix is the one for you on this well-rounded EP.
