Oliver Huntemann always delivers - especially on his own Senso imprint. After two decades at the forefront of the European scene, to see his name on a record gua- rantees deep and deeply accomplished techno with a precise, refined production and high-definition details.
Both tunes on this double-header live up to the billing. 'Pech' is a masterclass in the selection and combination of tone, texture and the thoughtful treatments applied to them. A long two-minute build paves the way for a sustained bass tone that teases the listener with well-timed pitch bends. Elements unfold and flower organically as the tune reaches its climax of dancing synth lines.
'Schwefel' takes a voyage into more eerie territory, full of echo and distant music- box pings. Huntemann balances these delicate melodic sounds with gritty synth repetitions that finally win the day to deliver a surging, stirring and deeply memo- rable roller.

Daraus entstehen eigentlich die meisten Ideen – jeder Produzent kennt das.“ Entstanden sind die Werke im seinem Kopf, danach werden diese Ideen im Studio ausgearbeitet. „Auf meinem Studiorechner lagern wahrscheinlich über 100 angefangene Projekte." (...) „Im letzten Jahr beim Amsterdam Dance Event haben wir uns dann nochmal über Demos unterhalten. @matador_official fragte mich, ob ich ihm mal etwas für sein Label, @rukusofficial, schicken könnte. Gesagt getan.“

Stories From Sa Talaia is an album, a compilation, a love affair and like the title says many stories. Some of those with friends and collaborators, some about my family and all somehow connected to Ibiza. 
It´s a showcase of what i learned in the studio and in the booth in the last 20 years and the combination of those skills. 
It´s my approach of how to present such work in our fast forward moving times. This is why this work as i intended it to be in mixed form will be available as a free download for all of you. For DJs the tracks will be available as 4 Album Chapters with single tracks in the next months.
