This one’s special. Same QuickServe philosophy: keep it tight at 1:45 and keep it tasty. Cosmic Phil slides in on a chill drum beat and bass line, then—boom—keys light up and start expanding. A haunting pad floats in with a little extra expression, and soon the arpeggiated digits start blurping like your brain reminding you it needs every piece of the equation. Then comes the equal sign—a wink that you’ve come and gone (and maybe practiced a little math along the way).

The QuickServe Pavilion in its first iteration depended on this track to get the cones spinning—hence the OG. It’s been with the app from the very beginning. I’m pretty sure I played parts on my actual computer keyboard. I thought about giving it a second go, making it longer or more “produced,” but honestly…it’s kind of perfect as is—short, sweet, vibey, done. Enjoy!

QuickServe OG

SULEIMAN RECORDS is a Montreal boutique digital label founded by DJ/producer Darem Aissa. The name of the imprint pays homage to Syrian poet Suleiman Al-Aissa, one of the most prominent contemporary Arab poets.

The intent of SULEIMAN RECORDS and its vinyl-only sub-label AISSA RECORDS is to promote and produce positive, quality, underground electronic music. Taking influences from House, Techno and the many amalgamations in between, involving a diverse array of talented artists worldwide.

Darem Aissa - Sonder (Butane's Annihilation Remix)

Belgium’s Hermanez has long since been an impressive force with prolific output everywhere from Suara to Trapez LTD to Leena and Monique Musique. His deep, mystical version builds through hip-shaking percussion and swathes of dubby pads moving across the stereo field. Delays are used to great effect for both percussion and synths, creating a feel that’s reminiscent of late ‘90s progressive house but with a deeper and more groovy touch.

Hailing from Barcelona and now residing in Bali this latest release brings Cleave Martinez to the label for the first time with his fresh and jumping two track EP 'No Way Back / Nakama'.

Bringing the party with his heavily bass grooved focused arrangements, the crisp production, uplifting stabs and vocal elements add excitement to the music as you dance away the hours at a pool party or into the night at your favourite club.

Check out this sublime remix from Robert Roman. He has put his take to ‘No Way Back' stripping it right down to a hypnotic groove whilst keeping the summer vibes of the original. Use of the original string synth adds air to the track that bases itself over bass and conga rhythms. The track is finished with morphing and moulding synth effects play.
