Lost & Found deliver the long-awaited, highly anticipated remix package for Khen's 'One Day Of Independence' LP this week. It's a stacked line-up on the release with label boss Guy J himself, Lehar, Luca Bachetti, Termoment and rising star Patrice Baumel all turning in their own takes on cuts from the album. Baumel, who's seized major attention with releases on the likes of Kompakt and Anjunadeep over the last year, provides a sleek, smooth, synth-laden roller for the occasion, taking the original track up a notch in intensity. We're very excited to present the remix in full premiere today :)

In the words of the Amsterdam-based producer himself, Baumel explained "I consider Khen one of the most promising new artists in electronic dance music and was blown away by his album. The beauty of “Land of Goshen” lies in his melodic arrangement. I wanted the remix to respect the original and just gave it the club treatment it needed to beam people into outer space.”

Danito & Athina bring their special blend of exotic soul and groove electronics to the plate in four original tracks on the Feather of Zeus EP.

'Dionysos' starts off as a straightforward Techno exploration, swiftly entwined with lively percussion and ethereal strings. Its a formula that combines the dance appeal of groovy elements and the aptly crafted House and Techno soundscapes that are specific to their style.

Channeling placid percussion and a serene melody, 'Feather' sets a peaceful tone through an inherently minimalist, yet highly engaging composition. 

Named after a paradisiac Greek island, 'Kos' stirs up easygoing atmospheres atop a playful melody. Restful bird trills and a grave vocal add another dimension to the quixotic tableau. 

'Zeus' rings in a familiar construction with neatly layered textures. Whether its zig-zagging synths or a fizzy bassline, theres a simplicity that permeates and prevails at every step.

SAMA got in touch with me because I was heavily supporting his track Existence from Kraftek in 2017.

We met at ADE and since then we have stayed in touch and I have received tons of great music from him.

After lots of back and forth and his enormous patience with my picky taste in music, we finally have his debut ready on Noir Music and I am truly proud of this 2-tracker.

Curiosity is the straight forward techno-belter with an infectious spoken vocal to compliment the builds and the mood of this awesome tune.

Indifference was the first track I signed and the pitchy bassline on this track not only convinced me but has the clubs going mental every time.

Even though SAMA is fairly new to the techno scene, his productions are spot on and sound like they were produced by someone with years of experience. I hope you love this 2-tracker as much as I do.

The 64th release on Perspectives Digital features two new tracks by label boss Darin Epsilon. 'Karakoram' and 'Fantome' debuted in his Balance Selections mix, which went onto become their most listened to podcast of 2018 with 20,000 plays and counting!

Originally from Chicago and now based in Berlin, Darin is a real music student with plenty of Beatport chart toppers to his credit. He's played at venues and festivals all over the globe and signed his work to the likes of Renaissance, Global Underground, Sudbeat, Einmusika, Selador, Parquet, Warung Recordings, and more. 'Karakoram' opens in spine-tingling deep house fashion, with wavy grooves and twinkling keys lighting up the airwaves. It's an emotive tune that really sucks you in. 'Fantome' is just as sensitive and majestic, with carefully sequenced chords and dreamy pads lulling you into a hypnotic trance.

The highly acclaimed German producer Martin Roth returns to Perspectives after remixing 'Endless Moment' by Trilucid back in August 2017. The track was an instant smash hit, remaining in Beatport's Top 100 Progressive House for over 100 days, and receiving continuous support from Tale of Us, who played it at Cercle in Paris, Exit Festival in Serbia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, amongst several other important shows. Martin provides a subtle rework that adds in more breakdowns and a little extra drum based pressure, so that there's an urgency and sense of tension to the whole production that's ever more vital. It's no wonder his production skills have earned him three nominations in Beatport's Annual Awards and made him one of the major players of Anjunadeep.

The mystical sounds of the masked man known as AIWASKA has found much acclaim with his glorious ‘Medicine’ release on Exploited Ghetto. Fans of the track emerged far and wide. Eelke Kleiijn creates a more urgent feel than that of the original. He takes everything that’s great about ‘Medicine’ and gives it just the right amount of boost to create a more intense dancefloor moment. The chugging, arpeggiated bass groove still drives the track, but in a more relentless fashion. The track builds through slow-burning modulation, with a driving percussion success that features off-kilter snare hits and chunky tom thumps. As the track reaches its climax, a dizzying array of sirens, rising FX and white noise tones elevate it into an explosive flurry of sound, sending shivers up the spine. It’s quite spectacular.

The secretive AIWASKA project has been receiving big support from the Burning Man community, and Damian Lazarus recently released one of his tracks through his scene-leading Crosstown Rebels imprint. There’s much more to come from this masked man. Kleijn also has his links to Burning Man, having composed the track ‘1,000 Lights’ as part of a 670 drone art piece at Burning Man 2018 in memory of festival founder, Larry Harvey.
