The deep and skippy ‘Get Up’ is rutted by grunts of grime bass that stamp a grimace across the funk flushing out all dancefloor passengers. 
Pride of Prato Ruben Mandolini, a visitor to the exclusive shores of Snatch! and Defected, rumbles up a remix of hefty techno set up for a long and dark night ahead. The Italian bustles out of the booth and barely comes up for air, crackling with electricity as 'Get Up' squares up to the soundsystem.

Next release on Tronic is a pack of some exclusive "Secret Weapons" and includes four massive tracks from the label's biggest gunners. First track comes from the mighty Italian duo Macromism, "Backstab" is a groovy beast with banging beats, haunting vocal samples and as the title gives away sick stabs to compliment the solidness of the track. Second track is from the Dutch-man Reinier Zonneveld and is a rolling-bass heavy track, tailor-made for peak time action, on top of that there is this sick melody that adds up to shine off production. Third track of the release comes from Rafa Barrios and Rob Hes, the duo has delivered an afro-like slab, dancy, rhythmic and dirty at the same time and to conclude track four of this release from Drunken Kong is the dark side of the release, hypnotic slab, using a heavy drum work, big boom sub bass and killer chords. All in all a stunning release. Highly recommended.

What Uto has created here truly is something special. The result of re-creating those lead synth elements from the classic Octave One Blackwater track and layering them over the top of a low-slung and dirty tech house groove is just incredible. With the insatiable BPM Festival in Mexico just around the corner, this certainly looks set to become an underground anthem and provide the sound-track to those sun drenched pool parties.</p>

<p>As if the original wasnt exciting enough, Ninetoes is drafted in on remix duties, also debuting on the label, and he manages to take the track to a whole new level by using tougher drums and a hypnotic, techno driven bass line. This version definitely lends itself more to the club dance floors making this the perfect package and another aspirational string to Toolrooms musical bow of 2015.</p>

Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

Truesoul continues 2019 in stunning form, with a fantastic original from Riva Starr and a trio of classy remixes from the Italian master’s ‘Curveballs’ album. 

Almost 15 years deep into his career and the Napoli-born, London dwelling Riva Starr (aka Stefano Miele) remains one of electronic music’s most eclectic selectors, his production repertoire encompassing house, techno, breakbeat and beyond. Making his debut on Truesoul in 2017, his contributions include a memorable collaborative EP with Tiger Stripes titled ‘Sound of the Bettest’ and his fourth album ‘Curveballs’ released in October 2018.

Such is the high regard Adam Beyer holds Riva Starr, that it wasn’t long before a return to Truesoul was on the cards. ‘Jill Wears Black’ leads the package, a masterclass in fleetfooted dynamics as multi-layered strings, undulating bass and punchy percussion rub shoulders throughout the six-minute cut. An inspired composition that’s already highlighted Resistance in Ibiza, Elrow and a host of festivals throughout the summer months.

On the remix front, Truesoul has recruited three of the finest to remix Riva’s ‘Curveball’ originals. Drumcode mainstay Layton Giordani steps up for his first Truesoul outing since 2016, reworking ‘The Hole’ into a throbbing peak-time weapon. Marquis Hawkes, one of the Italian’s favourite producer of late, also joins the project, delivering a glistening, spacey interpretation of ‘Piknik’. Firebrand Harvey McKay delivers a trademark powerful re-rub of ‘Disco Loco’, taking the synths of the original and jacking up the intensity to bring it into peak-time techno territory.
