This song is about my on and off relationship between my ex and myself. So much has changed in such a long time that it felt like everything shifted. I end up trying and then failing, and she ends up with someone else. But I guess you can call me stubborn and selfish because I will always put up a fight for her back. We're entering the roughest phase in my life.. love.

I find myself with a new direction with music and I noticed I was being something I'm not. I'm living a lie with my music. Everything is real but I see no fulfillment in my music from the past. I find my self taking the biggest exhale of life and just letting it all go. Leaving the past behind, never looking back at it anymore. I want to move on."

"As for the X not being there it's because X is a form of marking your territory. It's a strayed letter in the alphabet. X is an unknowing letter that needs no introduction. The X is missing from my name because I want someone to mark my X into where they see fit.
