We are excited to welcome David Ol as a new DJ and producer to OPID Records. He brings with him two Deep House tracks that combine emotional depth with danceable beats. "Before the Night," the first track, is another testament to his musical maturity and creativity. The track captures the essence of Deep House with atmospheric soundscapes, hypnotic basslines, a melody that transports listeners to another dimension, and vocals that elevate the track even further. The second track, "Nimbosity," presents a minimalist form of Deep House. Both tracks are incredibly inviting for chilling out.

David Otero, known professionally as David Ol, was born in 1991 in Santiago de Compostela, where he currently resides. With over 15 years of experience in the music industry, David has built a remarkable career as a DJ and electronic music producer. From a young age, David was drawn to music, particularly electronic music. He began his musical journey at the age of 14, experimenting with virtual programs like Virtual DJ and small MIDI controllers. Over time, he acquired his first professional equipment, including turntables and a mixing console, dedicating countless hours to perfecting his craft.
David's musical evolution has spanned a wide range of styles. Initially, he was interested in minimal, tech house, and deep house before exploring techno. Currently, his focus is on deep house, a genre that allows him to express his creativity and connect deeply with his audience.Throughout his career, David Ol has shared the stage with renowned national and international artists within the vibrant Galician nightlife scene. His dedication and passion for music are evident in every performance and production.
Looking ahead, David Ol is focused on enjoying the process of making music to the fullest, without grand aspirations but with a firm commitment to continue growing and evolving as an artist. His dedication to music and his ability to adapt to different styles ensure that he will remain an influential figure in the electronic music scene.

 DJ Hicky, I started DJing as a bit of a fluke really. As a Glass collector in one of Swansea’s Biggest Clubs at the time, Sloanes Night Club in the late 80’s, I helped The Resident DJ out and took over the Decks for 10 minutes. That was it for me, I was hooked. 

From there I worked hard as a Mobile DJ and got a Residency at a Busy Music Bar plus working the crowd in the Club I started at Sloanes, from  time to time.

Things grew and I became a DJ in several Clubs in South Wales.  
Quids Inn Night club Both in Swansea and Newport South wales UK , Poo Na Na Night Club and covered a couple of events in Ibiza and Mallorca and also resident on a few Radio Stations since. Trax Radio UK, House Mix Brasil and Utter Sounds Radio to name a few.
