I composed these two tunes about my own experiences of having dyslexia and dyscalculia in response to meeting a whole venue full of inspiring fellow neurodivergent people at a conference held by the charity Dyslexia Scotland.

Misunderstood / A Common Ground

This was a commissioned piece for a wedding in July 2013, this was played for the bride walking down the aisle. Camasunary is a beautiful bay on Skye where the couple enjoyed a holiday a couple of years ago.

Composed about the hill behind Helensburgh. Bowie comes from the Gaelic 'buidhe' which probably describes the colour of the hill. 
From one side you get lovely views across Helensburgh and right down the west and south of Scotland to Arran, on the other you see over Loch Lomond and the Luss hills. 

This tune was chosen to be published in the book '25+2' collection compiled by the Scots Fiddle Festival as well as an album by the same name.

Rose Of Many Colours

A commissioned piece of music I wrote and also went over to the Isle of Kerrera on a beautiful sunny day to perform at a couples wedding. The Bride was French and the Groom was Scottish which is why it has the double name (in English 'The New Alliance') and the father of the groom commissioned me to write it as a present for them. 
I played it as the bride walked up the pier to their wedding ceremony which was held outside.
