We are a team of four students from the “Fachhochschule Salzburg - Master degree course MultiMediaArt” and this summer (27th june to 25th september) we will work on our major master-project in San Isidro de El General - Costa Rica. There we will support a charity organization for kids with deprived backgrounds, called “Pura Vida Skateboarding”. We will offer sustainable medial workshops with the focus on film, photography, audio and graphic design. These workshops should give the children the possibility to grow their confidence, cosmopolitan attitudes, creative skills, and motivate them to take responsibility for themselve. Basically our project aims to enhance intercultural communication and cosmopolitan attitude.

Besides that we will produce a documentary film about the whole trip and we are planning a 360° audio-visual environment which will be presented to a big audience in screenings and public media events.
Through the documentary we want to inform the audience about our work with the kids and the social, cultural and political situation in Costa Rica. It should illustrate the childrens and our transformation by influencing each other over a period of three months.
The audio-visual environment instead intended to give the audience the experience, the look, smell and feel of our adventure in Costa Rica. By using different senses, we want to encourage the visitors emotion in a positive way.
