I made my first Intec debut in January of this year, and following a huge amount of support I'm really happy to be making my much anticipated follow up.

My first EP picked up support from the likes of Oscar L, Spektre, Karotte, Ramiro Lopez, Sasha Carassi plus many others, and sticking to the same style, this EP also fuses tough percussion with melody rich synths that drive the powerful grooves.

In this newest installment of Pursuit, we present to you Wild Cards Volume 1. A collection of 6 absolute killers that deserve the limelight. With their forces combined this collection of peak timers will definitely make you understand what Pursuit is all about and we are so proud to have them. And don’t be afraid…there is more where that came from.

Kicking things off is Italian talent Luca Gaeta delivering a euphoric spaced out melodic symphony combined with a thunderous beat called About A New Life. Great friend of the family Noraj Cue makes his debut on Pursuit and this one is definitely one for the books. Don’t let the tongue in the cheek title of Opdringerig Hooi fool you, this is absolutely after party mayhem. New kid on the block Federico Naccari & Dubstone present Unmixed Galaxy, a space opera in the making. Delicious synth melodies combined with a filthy techno stomping groove. Familiar faces and absolute friends of the family is the duo Duss, who make their return with Babel, an absolutely exquisite composition demonstrating their impressive skills in the studio. What a talent. One of the newer entries on Pursuit is Berlanga who delivers an absolute monster called Time Has Changed. While the synth lines keep evolving a dark brooding voice brings us in darker environments.
And last is Murahni with his amazing Don't Talk To Me In The Morning track. 

All tracks have been road tested by Rob Hes and all carry the seal of approval of Pursuit. This is Wild Cards.

One of our label favourites The Reactivitz returns for Respekt 158. Title track 'Oudjat' combines his trademark razor-sharp percussion with eerie atmospherics and scything synths for a no nonsense dancefloor workout. 'I Can Wait' takes things in a more epic direction, with synth chords and sirens paired with a memorable vocal hook.
The supporting remixes come from Rudosa, who puts a tougher spin on 'I Can Wait', and Joe Blake, who dubs out a moody interpretation of 'Oudjat'

Not known to rest easy, We Are The Brave are back and ready to churn out some mega tunes your way for this summer. We’re proud to hear that We Are The Brave tracks have reached clubs and festivals far and wide, road tested to the max and always guaranteed to bring the ‘Rave’ to a town near you.

Whilst we’ve had a few shiny new artists of late, none the less with some insanely massive tracks to fist pump your night to – Linus Quick is a producer who has been around for some time, known for his acid electronica influenced beats. Alan has taken note, and confirms he’s a fan……

"I have been aware of Linus' music for some time, but I really love his current vibe and some of his most recent productions really caught my attention” says Alan.

Taking a new path for this release, both ‘Tethys’ and ‘Nebulas’ are the more down downtempo atmospheric cuts, expansive warped atmospheric synth work accompanied by chiming bell like elements and perfectly balanced percussive drive. 

The chunky brooding synth stabs found in ‘Neso’ joined by that punchy kick drum fire things up, yet the track still remains uplifting. “I'd say there is a lot more to come from him as his sound develops and I am excited to be working with him on We Are The Brave" – Alan

Spartaque - Floppy Headache (Astronoize Remix)

Vincent Hole makes his first phobiq appearance with four mightily powerful tunes and the title track "Without You" is up first providing a furious bassline and hypnotizing synths. Next one is "Bad Love" which goes darker with mysterious sounds and menacing stabs, preparing the ground for a more sinister approach before "Like A Phantom" takes over with electrified basses while crackling percussions push for an epic ride. Closing the EP is "Mystic Nocturne" where the gears are pulled back at the beginning with a deep-atmospheric opening before heavy synth chords and stomping beats take center stage.

The title cut Dimension Null sets the tone, with an attention-grabbing, dancefloor-filling excursion into gritty techno. Accented with a punchy bassline and a straightforward, uncompromising melody, it holds a tight grip on the listener, unveiling suspended chords followed by a hypnotising release. 

At the heart of Eternum, an equally compelling but darker slice, lies an arpeggiated sequence  that constantly shifts shapes and bounces off syncopated percussion pads. An electro inspired track with a rave sound aesthetic, it oozes understated confidence and dance appeal that is quintessential to any set.

Klangkuenstler - Dimension Null [Snippet]

The new release on Markantonio’s label AnalyticTrail is a collaboration between rising star Gaston Zani and veteran production duo Filterheadz.
Gaston Zani has been rapidly rising through the ranks of the techno elite following his music released on labels such as Tronic, Bitten, Set About and Phobiq. Before teaming up with the Filterheadz, he has also collaborated with the likes of Matt Sassari alongside his many solo tracks.
Filterheadz are best known to some for their classic track on Carl Cox’s Intec titled "Sunshine" which was made in collaboration with Tomaz. Alongside this underground anthem they have had a number of other hit techno tracks on imprints including Toolroom, Unity Records, Bedrock and 1605.
Each of the three tracks on this EP are dark and dance floor focused with heavy percussion and lots of energy. “Subconscious” has hints of euphoria, whilst “Mathematics” is led by old school chord stabs, and “Ridge” finishes things with ripples of acid.

Los Angeles-based techno savant Brennen Grey is making his debut on Pleasurekraft’s Kraftek label with a new four-track EP called ‘H is for Hercules’. The title track is as mighty as the name suggests, and it’s no surprise that honchos like Adam Beyer and Carl Cox are already in full support of this #CosmicTechno tune.
