EiN GEIST is the experimental brain spark of Kansas City based musician/artist, Mike Niewald. EiN GEIST explores the modern soundscape, plugging traditional rock elements into the virtual end of the spectrum.

Niewald cut his teeth in the mid 80s with the psycho-billy pop punk band, ABSOLUTE CEILING, which recently released its retrospective catalog on FERVOR RECORDS. Niewald formed alternative country innovators, THE BINDLESTIFFS, in the 90s, and currently fronts Americana noir rockers, THE GRAVE ESCAPE.
